My boyfriend and I drove from Hartford(~1hr) out to Litchfield to visit this distillery and it was MORE than worth the trip! We had an excellent time. The tour was great — I learned a lot, and they answered all our questions. And we laughed a lot too! The tasting was also delicious! We left with a bottle of gin and 1yr bottle of bourbon. Overall — great atmosphere, great alcohol, great people, great time! Book your tour now!

Tours given on the hour where you will gain a an understanding behind the process of making gin and bourbon. Tastings afterwards were fantastic. Bought several bottles. Met one of the owners, Jack Baker, who really took his time with us even though we came near the end of the day for the last tour. We bought several bottles and are looking forward to his upcoming events!

Nestled in between the quiet little towns of Bantam and Litchfield CT is where this little gem hides. If your looking for small batch artisan crafted bourbon and gin its right here and if you have an hour to give I cant recommend enough to take the tour and tasting. You will get a peek into the boozy world of a more grown-up Willy Wonka while gleaning a few tidbits and nuggets of wisdom that you can pull out to impress at your next cocktail party or to garner some respect from your local bar dwelling hipster that seems to know a little about everything.

This was a great find when we were looking to kill some time before the next hockey game at Taft. Got a tour and a tasting. Both were great! Ended up buying a $ 75 bottle of bourbon. Worth every penny!

It doesn’t get any better than this. A distillery right in the neighborhood. We drove by one Saturday and were fortunate enough to catch the Open for Tours sign and pulled in. They were in the middle of a tour already, but one of the owners took his time to give us a private tour and tasting. They only make limited types(bourbon and gin) but are well versed and informed on everything related. Their bourbon is pretty solid and their gin offers a unique flavoring, but their aged bourbon is fantastic. It’s a great spot to check out and learn about the distillation process while getting to see it step by step.
