Wings ATC Claims to be a Dual Diagnosis Treatment Center for Youth. In reality they don’t do much. Our child was transferred there from another facility to get help from their on-staff Psychiatrist to manage medications. After 15 days our child had not seen the Psychiatrist, even though insurance covered up to 2 visits a week. When pressed on that, they said the Psychiatrist is not on staff, they are contracted, and they refuse to see anyone until 21 days at Wings. This is regardless if they come from the street or another facility. Then, instead of moderating a difficulty between clients, they choose to kick our child out. So 15 days, and we get nothing. If you want to get your kids help, go elsewhere. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Then there is this KARE11 story:
