This place can use an upgrade. I am used to Marriott hotels that have been upgraded to new layout with new furnitures and the Bistro for breakfast and light meals. I don’t think I will return. It is very convenient to six flags and my business partner’s work but it was not to my liking.

A nice stay for a Courtyard. The staff and manager were very friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. The room was clean and the breakfast was nice. I’ll gladly go back the next time I’m in town.

Someone should give the night clerk, Mark Gibson, a promotion! Mark was the first one that greeted my wife and I on our stay here, and we continued to have some great conversations over the next couple of days during our stay! Mark also made sure that there were FRESH pots of coffee for us workaholics who stay up late.
The downside, albeit minor, was that the wifi was set up kind of weird. I had to get into the command line of my unit to get on. However, this seems to be much more of a corporate issue, and less of a singular location issue.
Because of Mark, I would gladly stay here again.

«Courtyard by Marriott Six Flags» should be first clue. In the pm there as many kids running through lobby as Six Flags. Which is cool unless you want to use lobby CPU w/​20 kids waiting to use as well. Unfortunately, there Wi Fi was down so I could not use lap top. Also, the work out room smelled (Musty-​moldy) so not really best for a work out. I was on 3rd floor during 90 + degrees days & A/​C could not keep up. Not fun to wake up sweaty. On the upside the people are very, very nice and breakfast was good. I was also comped breakfast for inconvienice. I am sure w/​a little upgrading this place would be fine but until then I am staying somewhere else.

Castro Valley, CA
Very friendly people, eager to impress the guests. Great rates, awesome breakfast (eggs and bacon, not continental). Whole place was clean, free wifi.
