Express Hair Braiding

I came here a few months ago, but I recently had a bad braiding experience that reminded me how wonderful this place is. I made an appointment and my braiders were there and ready when I arrived. I got medium length individual braids, and was in and out in less than 3 hours! My hair looked great and I got tons of compliments! All around a great place and would be going back if I hadnt moved! I highly reccomend!

I went here a couple of weeks ago for small kinky twists and had a great experience! They had me out of there in 2 ½ hours after a 30 minute wait (due to a client just ahead of me). They were also very attentive to not braiding my small edges like I asked them to. That made me very happy. They listened to my specific needs and did exactly what they were asked and my hair looked just like the picture I provided them. I had 3 braiders working on my twists at once. I will definitely be frequenting this shop for my braid styles.

I never write reviews but I was so pleased with the outcome that I had to. I got my hair braided at Express Braids on 9÷4÷15. I went in as a walk in at 10:30am and was done by 12:15pm. I had two ladies work on my hair at the same time. I have never gotten my hair braided so fast. I have worn braids all my life but I stopped getting them done because it took so long. I showed them a picture of the style that I wanted. They said that they didn’t have the hair in stock but they could do something close. I loved the outcome, the professionalism, the price was fair and I will definitely be going back!

Today I decided to go to this salon to get my box braids done due to the reviews saying that they work really quick. I saw a few people getting their hair done fast but I would say it took the normal amount of time because I arrived at noon and my hair was finished at around 6 PM. The reason I’m giving this salon three stars is because of their customer service. Of course I didn’t have any problems directed personally towards me, but if you have children I wouldn’t recommend bringing them here due to they do a lot of cursing and today someone had the song «IDFWU» by Big Sean on repeat and it definitely wasn’t censored. Then a parent came in fussing about her child’s treatment while getting her hair done, and instead of them apologizing and letting it go they fussed about it all the way until I left which was a good 30 minutes. Other than that, they do a good job with styling your hair for a low price.

I went to another salon but they had 6 people waiting and 12 people in the chair getting their hair done so I called here and they said I can come in at 1pm and it should only take 4 hours to get senegalese twist. Got there a little before 1pm and had to wait till 2pm before getting in the chair. When I got in the chair the ladies was ready to work. It started off with 2 on my head then went to 1,3,4, and at one time I had 5 people on my head. It took in total 3 hours and 20 minutes. The only negative is the price change from when I called in to once I got done. I would advise to make sure you ask the price before getting in the chair. Other than that it was a great experience. I will be back!!!

My braids looked like an amateur did it, took it out the next day, definitely won’t be going back there.

I will definitely come again. This is my second time here & for me to be tender headed im amazed that im back. The good thing is that what would have normally taken about 10 hours it only took 3. The restroom could be a lot cleaner but I didn’t expect anything great. Great job ladies!

First, I would like to say that I would go back. The only thing I hated was actually getting my hair braided being that I’m tender headed. I’d called about 3 to 4 hours ahead of time to let them know i was coming. However, I arrived 30 minutes late and had to wait 30 to 45 minutes. My braids are really neat and they were very diligent. Let me say this though; NO ONE WILL CARE ABOUT YOUR EDGES LIKE YOU DO! I was not surprised that they gripped the life out of my edges. There were 3 people working on my head. It took about 3 to 4 hours long for them to finish my hair. Keep in mind that my hair is really thick and long… it’s also 4c texture.
Btw, I got box braids.
But, I’d recommend this shop.
