Right Touch Dental

BEWARE! I just had x rays done last week (September 2014) and was told I need (4) crowns and (2) fills and that crowns are $ 800 something each plus almost $ 300 lab fee for each crown. I asked if I can have child’s instead and was told no. I’m a faithful teeth cleaner… brush 3 times a day and floss throughout the day AND my old dentist in New York always told me I had beautiful teeth, no plaque or tater… haven’t needed a fill in YEARS ans all of a sudden I need 4 crowns and 2 fills??? So web sites say if you go to a dentist for the first time and they tell you that you need a bunch of crowns red flags should go up… which they did. GET THIS… I CALL MY OLD DENTIST and schedule an appt with them for a 2^nd opinion however they don’t take my new insurance but tell me another named dentist does accept my insurance so I call them up and they tell me I should get copies of my x rays so call The Right Touch Dental to request copies if my x rays that I just got and they tell me «so would you like to cancel the two up coming appointments you have scheduled?»
Me:yes for now
Them:okay I’ll just take you out of our system
me:okay and why are you taking me out of your system???
Them:because you’re requesting your x rays to go to another dentist right?
Me:yes. But just because I’m requesting x rays and want to get a 2^nd opinion why would I be removed from your system?
Them:It’s in the consent form I’m mailing you
Me:okay well if that’s your protocol to remove someone from your system because they request copies of their x rays to get a 2^nd opinion then that’s fine with me
RUN RUN RUN!!! these people are SCAMMING you to get crowns that cost $ 1100-​$ 1200 EACH… and I DOUBT that I honestly need them I will see at my next appointment
