They installed HVAC in our new home and did an excellent job. The Technicians were knowledge and friendly. I would highly recommend RS Heating and Air!

I called RSHVAC yesterday for a Tech to come out for an emergency we were having with our A/C. The drainage pipe had gunk build up & had filled up & over-flowed all under our furnace & Trane Clean-Air Effects Filter system. I was told someone could come the next day between 11:00&3:00pm. I told the receptionist that will not work, I needed someone Today! I reminded her that they had Inspected it in April(on a 51 degree weather day) and had found no issues at that time. So, a Tech from East Point Lee Patterson was dispatched & finally arrived at our home. I explained what was happening & he began working on problem after I gave him Towels & a bucket he needed & Clorox Bleach. Honest to god, he wanted to turn the A/C back on with so much water still in Furnace & Filter system, even went as far as lying to me when I asked had he removed the Filter Panels out of Trane unit, he said yes, when I asked him to open it up so I could look inside to make sure no water was present before turning it back on I saw he in fact did Not remove them as he had said. Again, he said he needed to turn system back on to make sure it was running, I explained that I was not comfortable doing that with water present! this went on until I made it clear that it wasn’t going to happen, not until I could get a Floor Dryer and a Dehumidifier to dry it out!(Rented both from Home Depot for less than what we were charged for the cost of Tech coming out)! UGH He stated that we will then have to call them back and pay another service call of $ 59.00. I told him fine but had no intention of doing that! I’m out $ 138.00 a total waste. But thankfully I have someone else licensed coming today to take another look and make sure every things is ready to be turned on. P.S. Someone please inform or train Mr. Lee Patterson on how to Properly clean a A/C Drain! decided to look into pipe myself to see just clean he got it. For the love of God, I should have known using a garden hose to flush out build up was not going to properly clean it! Customer Beware! Incompetence at its finest! Going to take pics & post for show.

Firstly, when I look at the reviews, it looks like I am the only person that has had a negative experience. To start, we were having issues with our heat pump. When the RS technician came out to give us an estimate, he never gave my husband and I a repair option, only a replacement option. When it was replaced, the people who did the work were kind and professional. However, we started hearing a constant popping over the next few days. We called out a tech to take a look at what was going on. When the tech came out, we were also having an issue with the new thermostat that they had installed; it was reading the indoor temp was 78 – 80 degrees when the temp was closer to 68 – 70 degrees. The tech was able to correct the issue that was problem that was causing the popping; the installation was causing a short and popping a circuit each time the air tried to turn out. When we asked about the thermostat, he said there was nothing wrong with it and the temp was fine, even though you can feel that it wasn’t 78 – 80 degrees in our home. We eventually just switched out the thermostat ourselves with the old one that we had prior to our heat pump being replaced. The one that they gave us was overheating, causing the temp difference(cheap thermostat). The final issue that we have have was with our bill. We paid $ 75 to have an estimate about the work that needed to be done and that was supposed to be applied to our invoice. When we received our invoice, the $ 75 was not applied. I had to call the office to get it straightened out and it took 4 more phone calls over a 9 days to finally get a response. Each time I called, they just asked me to leave a message and never called me back. When I finally did speak with someone, she apologized, told me a check was in the mail, and that when they tried to call me back, the number wasn’t working. I find that a little odd considering my number and my husband’s number were in our file from our previous appointments and they never had problems getting in touch with us before. I would not recommend their services to anyone else. Their other reviews look great but I have had nothing but problems and I have had to fix things on my own because of a technician saying that there was«nothing wrong.» When you pay over $ 5000 for a service, I hoped for better follow through.
