Good evening, I am dining tonight at Asian Express. I’ve been here a few times before and there is a few pros and cons. Pros, the price for the amount of food is a decent value compared to the Asian inspired residents found in shopping malls. Also, there never spreads to be a line everyone I come but many customers seem to have been served. Cons, everything taste just about the same. Yes, there are different flavored of chicken as well as beef, but it is apparent that the sauces all have similar ingredients. Today’s Experience I ordered the usual, 4 scoops($ 1 Each) of Japanese chicken, sesame chicken, black pepper chicken, and orange chicken. I have plenty of salad at home. The food was saturated in grease and oil. All of the flavors last the same but look different. Not a good meal. Imagine that the oil used to cook with is somehow combined with soy sauce. A mess. Hey, you get what you pay for and the prices are great but the quality is far from. Thanks for reading.

Asian Express recently opened, so I decided to give them a «test drive». They advertise both dine in and carry out, with the usual list of «New York Style» offerings, in a clean and pleasant strip mall space. Since it was my first visit, I decided to keep it simple and select from the list of 24 items offered as «lunch specials». It was a decent variety of choices. I ordered fried rice, chicken & broccoli, a couple chicken wings and some wonton soup… I was TERRIBLY unimpressed! Unfortunately, the flavors ranged from bland to oily to overly salted, including the soup. Honestly, I had never had bland wonton soup. Salty? Yes… but NEVER bland. I was extremely disappointed, to say the least. Opening an apparently family run business is never easy, so I hope that they make a go of it. I’ll probably pay them another visit, but if my next taste experience is similar to this one, it’ll be my last.
