Is not a clean resturant (front/​especially back of house). All food is cooled covered in sauces. Per other reviews no wonder they got sick so to not following State/​Federal sanitary practices (ex: the re-​use of disposable one time use pans). However, the worst is Owners/​Management. They require you to come to work even if you are sick and admitted in the hospital. They also talk down to their employees and are just lazy. My advice is it is ok to do business with Black Businesses but this Black Business DOES NOT need our business. They are comfortable with the existing customers they got 15years ago and is doing nothing to get new ones. Only people with no backbone to stand up for themselves will ever work for them. #mordendayblackslaveowners

My husband loves their chicken, but I’m not impressed.

Worst soul food on the planet! We were in the area for a basketball tournament and stopped in. Horrible! How is this place still open? My son was sick the next day because of the BAD FISH! This place should be SHUT DOWN!

Best soul food spot in Lithonia IMO. Reminds me of the down home cooking in my home state of Mississippi. I usually order the fried chicken wings, mac and cheese, green beans and cornbread. Their desserts such as the peach cobbler and sweet potato pie are very good. The sweet tea is too sweet, tastes like straight maple syrup. Otherwise, good food!

The sign says Roberts Soul Food so you go in expecting to be blown away. Not So Fast. I just left there. I had the special baked chicken with greens, and can black eyes peas. Plus I added a porch chop sandwich. My wife had Mac and cheese. Now if you gonna have a Soul Food restaurant then the Mac n Cheese should be on Point. This taste like Roman noodles with more eggs than cheese. The baked chicken was okay in the fact that it was like chicken you get from the farmers market. But nothing to brag about. If you want to feel like you left church and stopped by that Uncle’s house that don’t ever go to church, but cook every Sunday this is your spot! Good venue for Restaurant Impossible to drop by and do a make over. A/​C Does Not Work. You can tell from the pictures of the Entire Family Tree all around the place that the owners do like their Own Cooking! Wife found a hair in the Mac n Cheese so what does the owner do? Gives us a Mac n Cheese 2 Go… No Good! No Substance 2 the Hype!

I don’t know what to even say about this place. I pull out the drive through and park and began to eat i took a bite into my cabbage. While biting into it, I glanced over to a car parked next to me who was doing the same. We looked at each other and said. «NO SALT!» When did Soul Food began to cater to senior citizen. I knew i should have driven off when i notice words spelled wrong on the menu. like three pice chicken bras. And I’m a dumb ass. Im looking at the menu telling my friend. Oh they dont have this in Jersey. I want to try this Pice Chicken Bras. So i asked the lady what on this Pice Chicken Bras. She said oh no thats 3 piece chicken breast… OHHH so they write it, like how they say it

I had the two-​piece whiting with black-​eyed peas and cabbage with a side of peach cobbler.
The fried whiting could have been cooked more; the black-​eyed peas were dry and unseasoned, the cabbage was okay, and the peach cobbler was very mushy.
The best thing about this experience was my cup of lemonade slash tea.
Maybe I would have had a better experience with another selection. I may try them on my next visit just to check.

The Rib Tips Are Great & I Def. Prefer Them Over This Is Its Rib Tips Which Are Really Hard !
The Peach Cobbler Is Good Also !
