Equity Restoration

I am self-​employed working for Equity Restoration. Before I met with Brian Singer and Tyler Gorman about doing work with them, I did my homework. I looked them up on Google and I checked the Better Business Bureau after having been victim of an unscrupulous local roofer years ago. I am one of the «door-​to-​door» canvassers that you are «warned» about. But before I knock on your door, please know that I have owned a home for 23 years. I have experienced hail damage which put holes in my vinyl siding, shutters, and garage door. My insurance adjuster never suggested looking at the roof and I was young and naïve. Several years and a large roof leak later, the roofer told me I had significant hail damage (probably from the same storm that damaged the rest of my house as well as my cars). I paid the entire cost of the new roof. When I met with Tyler and Brian to discussed what they did and how they did it, I kept thinking, I wish I had Brian when my hail storm hit. He knows what should and will not be covered. He makes sure that everything is FAIR. Our company is not out there trying to scam you. You WILL need to pay your insurance deductible if there is damage that requires a new roof or repair. Likewise, you WILL be shown pictures of damage OR you will be told there IS NOT DAMAGE if there isn’t any. Our guys don’t go around with the ball-​peen hammers creating «damage» and it is a waste of their time to try to get an insurance company to agree to pay for damages that don’t really exist. There’s plenty of real damage out there. When I knock on your door, I want to help you avoid the mistake that I made years ago. I have a «day» job, I’m a teacher. I educate people and I want you to have all the information you need to make an informed decision about how to proceed with your storm damage (if there is any). I enjoy talking to people and making a difference for them, no matter how small. I don’t enjoy having doors slammed in my face, but I understand that some people are wary. My final words to you: check us out, talk to any of the references we provide and trust your instincts.

This company has put on over 50 roofs for me over the last 2 years. They do a great job. In the roofing and siding business not everything goes perfectly. Any issues I’ve ever had, they come back and fix it no questions asked. They are one of the only Owens Corning Platinum Preferred roofers in my area, and their prices consistently beat the others.

Their word more than any company I have worked for. I constantly have people complimenting our work and referring others. Great people to work for.

Buyer Beware. all I can really post here. horrible experiences with this Company with replacement of roof on home of my 83 y. o widowed Mother in Lancaster PA. impossible to get accurate bill for work performed. other troubles. impossible to resolve fairly and amicably from a distance as I’ve been attempting to handle on behalf of my Mother.
