I was admitted into the ER very early in the morning in October 2015. The admissions process was quick and the clerk was very nice. The nurse who tended to me during my ER visit was very nice and always kept me up to date on things. I had to go to radiology for a CT scan and a radiology tech came over and explained the process. The employees in the radiology department were very nice as well. They explained everything before they did it and answered any questions that I had and assure me that everything was okay. As I awaited my CT results as well as my bloodwork, the ER nurse checked in on me now and then, a volunteer also stopped by a couple of times to see if I needed a drink or blankets to keep me warm. I felt as if I had a wonderful experience and I will for sure chose to come again, if needed.

I just had my daughter via a c-section at Heart of Lancaster. My treatment by all the staff was excellent. All my concerns were addressed and all my questions were answered. The doctors and nurses were responsive and caring. Even the housekeeping and food service staff were friendly and empathetic. The food was good, and every effort was made to keep us as comfortable as possible.

Well I just started and so far I can say that I feel so unimportant when I go there. Like they are rushing me and wanting to leave so quick. I feel like they aren’t even listening to me. I’m trying to tell them concerns I am having and they just make me feel so stupid and like I said it’s like they are rushing me out. Like they monitored me and I was having a good amount contractions and the doctor sent me to there two hours is what she asked for and they were like no we will do it for one hour. The midwife is a total female dog. She was very rude. I hope I never run into her again. She should have checked me to see if I dialated even more while i had those contractions. She said she might. It’s like they aren’t cautions and don’t do the best interest for the baby. It would have take a minute to check but of course she was in a rush to leave. I understand they have other patients but don’t leave mine out cause your behind. I just really want to transfer to may grant now. But idk yet

I want to say this first… This review is pertaining to their billing department NOT the hospital itself. To sum it up… they must have training employees working their billing department as I have not received a SINGLE bill that has been correct thus far. I delivered in September and the first bill I received was for over 700,000 dollars YES I said OVERSEVENHUNDREDTHOUSANDDOLLARS for a normal uncomplicated VBAC. Of course, I called and was issued an apology and was to watch out for an updated bill… Well here it is January and we have yet been able to pay anything as EVERY bill received has had an error on it and every time I call its the same thing… «please hold I will talk to Melissa(which is the head of billing there apparently)» the employee comes back and apologizes and tells me to disregard the bill and they have re-billed and will get a new bill in the mail. Unbelievable, good thing I worked billing previously so I know what to look for but I feel horrible knowing others may not know there are mistakes on their bill and pay it. Moral of the story is their billing department is awful and check your statements and if you have a question CALL!
