Nice little airport for catching a flight to Baltimore or other select cities. It would be nice they had more flights going out of this airport since I used to live so close but oh well. Eat at the restaurant(Florentino’s) during the summer to watch the planes takeoff and land. It’s really cool.

as expected for a training stop but in fairness I didnt explore the entire facility.

Lancaster(pronounced Lancuster if you’re local) is a very nice class D airport with some of the friendliest tower controllers around. A great fly-in destination with a decent restaurant in the very modern and clean main terminal. A popular destination for local pilots practicing approaches as Lancaster has one of the few DME Arc approaches in the area. Grab a car and explore the great Amish countryside if time permits. Happy Flying!

Very nice and surprisingly busy airport. Mostly serves general aviation but a couple of airlines use the facility. The passenger terminal is small, the parking is free(I think) and security lines have gotta be short. There is even a nice restaurant in the terminal.
