I took my son to this office. We had to wait over and hour to see the doctor. And the staff were uncaring and rude.

I agree with Beth’s review below. We too first went to Willowbrooke Pediatrics where there were tons of Dr’s and a long wait. Also, the Dr’s didn’t seem to know much about breastfeeding and we’re giving us wrong and outdated information. They also were very cold to my newborn baby and we’re flipping him over like he was a pancake on the checking table. After, two or three visits we left and found Dr. Pepe. He is absolutely wonderful! His office is always as clean as a whistle. When you make an appointment and come in there’s never a long wait. The Dr. is super smart and keeps up with new information. He also knew everything about breastfeeding. He doesn’t rush you and is sincerely concerned about your child. When my newborn was sick he even called me for the next few days to check on him! He doesn’t let you leave his office until you fully understand what your baby is going thru and how he will be monitoring him. When he does checks he makes my baby laugh by making funny noises to ease the checkup. Please don’t ever retire Dr. PEPE! You are such a terrific and brilliant Dr!!! I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else!

Woohoo is right! BEFOREYOUREADANDFUTHER… PLEASEREVIEWALLOFYOURPASTANDPRESENTDR.‘s. HEREON Unilocal! We all need to know the good the bad and the EXCELLENT!!! THANKS! Why is Dr. Pepe a 5 star review? Well, it is easy to make an appointment. If there is a wait, it is never more than 15 minutes. Great when you have a sick kid! Am I right? I had taken my son to Wilowbrook Pediatrics from the time he was born through his first year, maybe even a little beyond. There was always a wait, you never saw the same Dr. twice, the reception people were unfriendly, unsmiling, and would charge you for any medical records. My son, who was very independent and outgoing, would cry at the site of the nurses. After waiting in the waiting room, you were taken to an examining room to wait even longer. ITWASPUREHELL. If I were a kid, I would have cried too. On a whim, I just searched for pediatricians in my plan and found Dr. Gary Pepe, who was just down the street from me. We walked in, were taken right away. Dr. Pepe is an older doctor, so I think he keeps his schedule very sane and simple. He only has one office helper/nurse who is always sweet. I feel like I have stepped back to a sweeter time when you really got to know your doctor. My son must have sensed this too, because he started talking to the lady at the window, who smiled and engaged him. And when Dr. Pepe came out my son started talking to him, and was hesitating to let Dr. Pepe examine him. But Dr. Pepe used some good tricks to make the exam go smoothly. YAHOOOO! A doctor’s visit with no tears!!! I was so happy I could have cried. That is not all was looking for though. When he saw that my son’s ears were full, he did further testing, and monitored it closely. He talked about the current research on ear infections and anti-biotics. He refers when he needs to, and he is very thorough. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. Have I said enough??? I am hoping he does not retire until my son is out of the house!
