I can’t believe the good reviews his dump gets! I grew up going to the y too and have never seen a place go so down hill over the years. Last may we came up with a contract, which was the head of after achool’s idea, that they would pick up my son at preschool with the y bus and bring him bak to the building for after care. After countless unreturned phone calls and emails throughout the summer, they finally said the arrangement was still on. Then, after losing my paperwork twice, they call me two weeks before school starts and tell me they can’t uphold their end of the bargain and no one has any idea what the other person said yes too! When I asked how such a thing can happen to a working mom two weeks before school, they said these things happen when tryig to accommodate! How dare they? You agreed to the arrangement and i already paid you over $ 500-​! How is that accommodating me? Then I was told my refund was in the mail and when I called at the end f the week to see why I did not get the check, they said, oh we forgot to tell you, it takes three weeks. It was 3 weeks today and no check! When I called, the woman who cuts the checks said she just wrote it this minute! I’m not stupid! I know that means no one told her to write it! I don’t know what happened to this place, but I won’t trust them to watch a fish, let alone my kid! Worst part? They weren’t being shady… They are just really stupid, disorganized and need money so bad, they will say yes to anything, even if it’s against their rules and they know it! Can’t wait to get my check so I can have nothing to do with them ever again!
