About Vase

Not happy at all!
I ordered an arrangement for Mother’s Day for my sister to be delivered to her at work Friday, was told this would be «no problem.» She never got the flowers. I called Sat. to see what happened. I was told they delivered too late and could I give her home address, which I did. They never got there, either. She got a message from her work saying some flowers had been left at the door. No one knows when because they were closed! So not only did I pay $ 172 for dead flowers to go to my sister for Mother’s Day, she never actually got them!!!

Sending someone a flower arrangement can be a risky enterprise. You give the florist a wad of money and carte blanche to create something, and you just hope it’s good. Hard to know if you are going to get enough for what you spend, or if the arrangement will be creative or merely mundane…
About Vase is just one of those places that, when you find it, you want to tell everyone. It’s that good. The florist is the most creative I’ve ever come across, and can prepare anything from simple to almost unimaginable. This is not the same old arrangement you will get from Teleflora or just about any other flower shop – you’ll be wow’ed. I’ve sent orchids, succulent gardens, very modern arrangements, and arrangements of a specific color scheme. I’ve brought in my own vases to have something made, or just let them select. Never once have I been disappointed.
I’ll add that About Vase gives you a lot of bang for the buck, too. The flowers always look like they were just cut (but not un-​bloomed, which is a bit of a downer), and for the money, the arrangements are larger, fuller, and more creative than the stodgy ones from folks like Tipton-​Hurst. If you’re sending flowers or plants in Little Rock, this is the place.

Not only is About Vase the BEST flower shop in LR, but they also have an amazing staff. They are personable and take the time to help you get exactly what you need.
My boyfriend and I have been using them for a year now and have never had 1 complaint. Dale always makes the most beautiful arrangements. I have purchased many orchid from them as well and still have them alive month later. I can not recommend them enough! Beautiful Work! Amazing People! Great Prices! What more could you want in a florist?!

We had a complaint this Valentine’s Day, and I Left the owner a message about our experience and what happened with our delivery order. We didn’t expect a knock on our door this morning from The owner himself with a huge bouquet and a heartfelt apology for our bad experience with the company! That showed a lot of character and it’s nice to see a owner who really cares about every order no matter how big or small it may be ! Thank you for taking the time to make everything right ! My wife and I will be calling in the future for all our floral needs .

So yesterday on Valentines Day we had a mix up with the temp help on the phones. I complained and while whoever was there yesterday was rude our flowers did arrive and were pristine. It was a mix up and she is not a permanent employee and the owner himself came by this morning with a large vase of the sweetest and prettiest flowers I have seen. That means more to me than any phone call. I feel like yes we had a mix up but would I use them again? YES. Beautiful arrangement and a florist that is owned by someone who came to my door to apologize on a cold Sunday morning after the busiest day of his year. Yes, this shop is recommended and the flower selection is amazing. Poppies in February? Purple roses and freesia in my delivery yesterday? Yes and an owner who has heart.

Had no idea who to call in little rock to send a friend a pick me up. I saw reviews here on Unilocal and I took a chance. They made a beautiful arrangement that fit my vague request exactly! Modern, high end arrangement and vase. Highly recommend.

I came back for seconds! And will definitely be back for thirds!

My experience with this shop has been nothing but positive. It is my new «go to» place for unusual flower arrangements. They go out of their way to help you get just right look. I have found the most beautiful arrangements come when I let them do the design. I just tell them a little about the person, the occasion and the price range I want to pay and they take it from there. I’ve done this 3 times now and each person from my client to my Aunt to my friend were amazed by the arrangements saying things like «this is the most unusual arrangement I’ve ever received and you know how I love edgy things» to «how did you know all my favorite flowers». While I did know my client loved edgy things however, I did not know my aunts favorite flowers. I just told the designer her age and that she lived flowers of all kinds and had her yard completely planted in flowers before she got to the point of not being able to garden. I guess he knew what 89 year old ladies that gardened all their life would like. I highly recommend this florist.

I really want to thank Richard (the owner) for doing a last minute (WHAT I MEAN BY LAST MINUTE I MEAN 3 MINUTES TO CLOSING) flower arrangement for me and delivering it since Im all the way in San Diego, California. I was in a panic my boss forgot his moms birthday and «ABOUT VASE» saved my bosses day, made his mom feel extra special on her birthday and gave me some extra brownie points at work :)
Richard was totally understanding and patient with my 5 phone calls and 20 questions. He put together a really pretty flower arrangement and was so sweet enough to even send me a picture so I had an idea of what it looked like. I absolutely recommend ABOUT VASE for any occasion. They truly saved the day and made my bosses mom feel extra special on her birthday! Thank You again for being so fabulous!

Overpriced and losing talent. Ordered arrangement that was described beautifully. So disappointed that delivered flowers were sadly nothing as described It was too late to replace and shop offered no apology. Prices are twice other shops

Phil Cato is by far one of if not THE premier floral designer in the Little Rock metro area.
