Wow oh wow… the food is superb but the customer service is outstanding! The owner & staff work their butts off to assure everyone is attended to. We’ve been there twice & left with full tummies & great memories. I highly recommend their Biscuit Mountain & Mimosas!

Fantastic! Biscuit Mountian: Not quite a huge mountian pile, but more like two hills. Two stacks of buscuit, pommas rosti, sausage patty, gravy, and sunny side up egg. Expecting the portion to be mountianous will leave you confused at first, but its honestly a perfect portion size and the taste is very good. To the crazy lady that bounces around to refill coffee and check on us, you know who you are and you are the best. You bring a great dynamic to the location and a sense of personal connection to your customer’s that«get it». Thank you.

Ugh. I came in here on a Saturday awhile back for some brunch. I was seated and noticed how loud the music was playing in here! On an early afternoon Saturday! My server came back, and I asked if I could move to somewhere else because it was so loud. So I moved again, only to discover that the restaurant has 4 speakers along the wall pretty much above every table. This was disconcerting, so using a sound app, I measured the decibel level at 110 dbs! My second(!) server came up, and then I mentioned the sound/noise level again. She then replied in a passive agressive manner, «yeah, there’s a ghost who turns it up soft to loud.» Yeah, it’s too bad there’s no living persons that work there to turn it back down. The music continued blasting at that noise level for my brunch. They did nothing to turn it down after I had mentioned it twice to two different servers. I don’t mind music playing, but certainly not this loud and this early in the day. Now on to the food. I ordered the classic breakfast, eggs over-easy. I got extremely cooked eggs and one was completely a hard yolk with no liquid. Sausage patties seemed to be that cheap processed pre-cooked box kind. The toast was the best thing. The freakin’ toast! Coffee was not good. Normally, I get a coffee to go with my order somewhere like this, but it was so bad that I went to the Starbucks next door to get a decent cuppa joe. Service was indifferent and non-attentive. The only good thing about my meal was they didn’t charge me for my coffee on my ticket(by accident?). Sorry folks, I won’t be back, or it would take a lot to bring me back. Non-Bön appetit-o! :(

Ok. Don’t get too tuned out with first glance at the prices. I promise the food is well worth it and made with the finest ingredients. Every time I try somewhere new for breakfast, I always have the Eggs Benedict. It is a good indicator of just how good the establishment’s food is, and I must say, this was by far the best I have ever tasted. This coming from someone who lived 15 years in the food capitol of the US, Houston. I didn’t try the mimosas as they were a little too steep for my budget but I imagine from the price and the conversation with the owner, these are probably some top shelf mimosas. Try them for me?

Food was excellent! Service not so much. The owner-she’s very nice. This is a do-over, but I hope the service improves.

Super expensive for the food quality and quantity provided. For a basic breakfast and coffee expect to pay $ 15 with tax and tip. If you want one of the more premium brunch items(chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, biscuit mountain, frittata) expect to pay $ 20. I’m fine with premium prices if the food is good, but unfortunately here they are charging prices commensurate with a larger city brunch place while providing country café quality. It’s rather disappointing given how unique(for Little Rock) the menu is. I won’t be back, but if you go, I’d forego the beignets, as they are not like traditional beignets, but rather doughy hush puppies served with a bowl of sauce that they must be dipped in for any flavor. Service is great, super friendly folks– food is brought out in a timely manner. Side note: this place uses Lilly’s dim sum then some on the weekends. They don’t have their own storefront.

The food is alright. However it’s stupid how expensive it is. $ 3.00 for a tiny side of overlooked potatoes? $ 10 for a Bloody Mary? Last time I was there brunch for me alone cost almost $ 30. It’s definitely not good enough to charge that much. I won’t be going back for a while.

This was my second time at B-Side. The first time it was amazing. The second time — sadly it wasn’t the same quality of food. I did go at a busy time of brunch as the place was packed and had a wait for a table. I had the beignets. They were a little dark and very heavy. The bigger one was almost raw in the middle. I also got the chicken and waffles. I liked the fact the chicken was thin and boneless but the breading was bland and didn’t stay on the chicken. The waffle was tasty but pretty much a typical Belgian waffle. I had a few bites of the biscuits and gravy. Very different than the first time. The eggs were bland and the hash browns were burned and the biscuit and gravy didn’t have much flavor. I really liked this place the first time. A little disappointed this time round but it still on of the better places in little rock.

Don’t be surprised to drop $ 12 – 15 per plate here, plus another $ 3 for each cup of coffee. My husband ordered the Biscuit Mountain; I went for the Huevos Rancheros sans chorizo. His looked(and apparently tasted) really good. Mine came out as a pile of dry black beans with a tortilla under and an egg on top. I asked the waitress if they had forgotten the ranchero sauce(the what?), then tasted the beans to see if there was any flavor(none) and sent it back. First time ever doing so, but I couldn’t justify giving them $ 12 for that. The chorizo could make all the difference, but without ranchero sauce, the meal is mislabeled anyway. I didn’t end up getting anything else. The service was, however, really good, and they were understanding when I debated what to do about my food. But even though my husband did enjoy his meal, the fare didn’t warrant the prices. We’ll happily pay good prices for good food, but this wasn’t it. I don’t think we’ll be back anytime soon.

This place confused me on a lot of levels. For one, B-side closed. Now B-side only exists as the morning face of Lilly’s Dim Sum & Then Some. First impression — it’s in a shopping center, and can be a little hard to find from the road. It’s also quite popular, so especially for breakfast, there can be quite a wait(ours was 30 – 40 minutes for a table of 3) and the service can be… rushed? Not bad, but a little stressed, and no effort seems to be made to hide or lighten it. The interior is nice, decorated in a deep red that I liked, and the walls have a bunch of paintings by local artists, which is always a nice touch. But! We’re all here for the food, aren’t we? I enjoyed the biscuits & gravy side a lot, it was a great little side dish. My wife and I split the Vegetarian Hash with eggs, and I jealously eyed our friend’s Mad Scramble, that looked goooood! The Veg. Hash wasn’t bad, but it was almost entirely potato. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good potato, and these were good potatoes! But the other ingredients were by far the minority. The coffee is also quite good, and comes in mugs with some serious heft, I was all about that! At the end of the day, it was good. I enjoyed it, but I wouldn’t order the vegetarian hash again(I would order the biscuits & gravy again!) and so far it left me craving some of our other Brunch spots — but, it was good enough to go back, and trying some other things on the menu may very well improve my impression.

A gem of a place in Little Rock. I used to come to B-side when I had my one year stint in Arkansas. In a desert landscape of food culture, B-Side was an oasis. I liked the service, location, and the staff. I remember getting into some conversations with the owner a few times and she was attentive and curious. I bring this up because of a notable experience with their Chicken and Waffles(see my pic). I remember telling the owner that her’s were as good or better than I’ve had back in LA(Roscoe’s) and they really were; a perfect combo of salty and sweet with texture, prepared with fresh ingredients. I’m not sure if their still on the menu, as I’ve not been back in years but try them if they are!

Great breakfast! Huevos rancheros were delicious. Coffee and OJ were perfect and kids loved the waffles. Nancy took good care of us despite having a packed house during Sun brunch. She even gave us a complimentary spring roll which was amazing. Expect a wait and it’s a little pricey but the food and experience are worth it. LR has needed a good breakfast spot ever since Satellite Café closed. This place helps but is only open for breakfast on weekends. Kind of tough to find. Look for Dim sum and then some sign.

The food was good not great. The prices are a little high but they make it fresh to order so I can get past some of that. It does take a while to get your food so if you are in a hurry might not be the place for you. My service was good not great I got the eggs Benedict that was good but the waitress never came back with a knife so it was a little hard to eat. My son got chicken and waffles and came with a bug piece if chicken and the waffle was good. He really liked the waffles they are made out of wheat flour so they have a different taste. I would go back and try it again

Stopped by this restaurant on a road trip to Nashville based on the reviews that said it was the best brunch in Little Rock. It is difficult to find unless you know it shares a location with Lilly’s Dimsum. We drove around for 10 minutes until we finally saw the sign sitting on the ground, not a great start. There was no wait which was a nice surprise, however the food was average and not what we expected of best brunch in Little Rock. The beignets were heavy and overcooked and the vegetarian hash was mediocre at best. We drove out of our way to eat at The B side and were disappointed by its not so best brunch.

I will never pay 10 bucks for 2 eggs, a sausage link and a slice of toast, dinner prices for breakfast. Im sure the food would have been great, just way too overpriced.

B-side Restaurant has been a RAVE from my friends in Little Rock. A group of us decided to go check it out on New Year’s Day. I have to admit, I was shocked they were open on the holiday. It’s such a small place that I passed by it 3 times before realizing it. I had the mad scramble, which was tasty… and the beignets. I’ve had better beignets. My favorite part about them was the sauce! I’m a sauce gal though! The coffee was bottomless – really, the server refilled my coffee anytime I was down half! One complaint is that the servers did not seem to be too knowledgeable about where their ingredients came from. One of my friends asked if they got their meats from a local farmer. Instead of admitting that she didn’t know, she acted uncomfortable and eventually mumbled…“I think so… yeah…” As soon as she walked away, we all immediately agreed that she had no clue. It would have been best to admit that she didn’t know and ask later. They have some interesting plates, such as the bacon-wrapped french toast kabobs! I mean, wow! Who thought of that?! That’s genius! That doesn’t help me; I don’t eat bacon OR french toast… but if you do, seriously… try that!

I thought B-Side was okay. We were given great service, and the food tasted good. However, a little pricey for the portion sizes. Same owners as Lilly’s Dim Sum, which I assume is the main money maker.

We went back to this breakfast spot to celebrate our anniversary! We shared a ½ order of the beinets with lemon curd… oh man… oh man… really good! Not sure I’d want them as my whole breakfast, but a great start to the meal! They were fried to perfection, dusted with powdered sugar, alongside a small bowl of lemon curd. Yum. I ordered huevoes rancheros with scrambled eggs for my meal, and my hubby stuck with biscuit mountain– he ordered that last time we were here and liked it a lot. My meal was GREAT! The chorizo was perfect! I will probably never order anything else because this was so tasty! Same issue as last time, it’s pretty expensive, our breakfast was $ 30, and portions are not big. The server, Orlando, was wonderful and friendly. The coffee was good as well.
