Great service and great food. Loved the family run place. Went during lunch time and it was packed. Also the prices were very reasonable

I arrived in Little Rock late on a Friday and was just looking for someplace that was open near my hotel. While Unilocal says that this is a sammich shop, not on Friday nights. Friday nights it’s a supperclub and we happened in on German night. Yay October! There was a small jazz band playing and lots of families hanging out, enjoying food, music and the BYOB beverages. We made do with water and iced tea. The food was plentiful and well made. The atmosphere was homey. Thanks for welcoming us to Little Rock.

Went here for lunch. Had the uncle Vic sandwich, basically a Ruben. I also had the tomato bisque soup. It was the BEST tomato soup I ever had and the sandwich was great too!

One of our favorite Friday night places. Wonderful food. Outstanding jazz. Love the lamb. Friendly casual atmosphere.

Fast, friendly, and affordable. I got«the law»(smoked chicken, provolone, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on fresh tomato herb bread) and the tomato bisque. The soup was to die for and the sandwich had more chicken than the bread could hold. You can’t beat it downtown for the price, I will be back!

Dave’s Place is a local family run restaurant. The chief(Dave) is an amazing cook. I have learned to love foods I never liked before because he can make anything taste good. This is my all time favorite restaurant. Good food, good people, & good prices. I used Dave to cater my wedding and asked for the strange request of a Creole Eggplant Lasanga. Everyone loved it and are still talking about how good it was!

Dave’s Place is an awesome place to have a weekday lunch or a special Friday night jazz dinner. The sandwiches, soups and salads are all solid. It’s a family-run joint so you get great service. The place is walking distance to most businesses in downtown LR. Make a note to visit on Friday night to enjoy a non-stuffy white tablecloth dinner and live local jazz. Everyone is friendly welcoming.

A friend suggested Dave’s Place for lunch the other day. It’s your typical sandwich, soup, and salad joint, with various daily specials. My friend had Dave’s Special(turkey, swiss, mayo, lettuce, & tomato on spinach feta bread), while I had Dave’s Other Special(turkey, pepperjack, mayo, lettuce, & tomato on Cheddar Rotel Bread.) Both were delicious, and almost certainly use a local bread company ;) Service was good, too.
