Little Rock Climbing Center

The staff here was definitely knowledgable and accommodating.
I just moved here from California, and, I have to say, the little rock gym is more expensive. I’ll just point out that they could use some healthy completion (if you’re an entrepreneur).
The routes were varied, and it wasn’t too crowded. I did enjoy that they offer yoga and other special night. Also, the auto belay sites are a great option for someone who doesn’t have a partner but likes to climb.

Haven’t done this since high school… but…not like I am the best climber in the world or can even say I am a climber, but in terms of the facility it was decent. It wasn’t the best place I have been. Other places I have been to are more elaborate (out of state on both east and west coast), but given the area, it is what it is.
First impression when I parked outside was «wow this place looks small.» However, when I went inside, it was quite bigger than I imagine.
Like I said I am not a «climber» but I have done stuff at military camps and been to other facilities in California, so I can only review this from what I know.
Pros:
–Staff is very friendly
–Great for beginners — experienced (all levels)
–Have walls that require belayer and some that you can climb by yourself
–Areas where no rope is required and you can free climb
–Wed night after 6pm it is cheaper for $ 16
–Equipment it well to date and you don’t have to worry about feeling like you may «fall, die» or whatever your fears are
Cons:
–Small area — but kind of expected that for a small city
–Since it is in a small space, you may have to wait a bit to have a turn
–Short climb to the top (again going back to the small space)
This is a great place to have a party or large group just for fun. For what it is, I say it is worth it especially on Wed nights. If you are a beginner it is definitely worth it!

I let go of the rope and it flew to the top.
That was worth it for me.
Fun for hippies. Not as interesting for me.
Staff seems nice.

The staff is super helpful. The setup is easy, you don’t have to tie the knots yourself, and you don’t need as much training to get started as other places I have been to. The costs are also lower than the other locations I have used. I will try to visit every time I visit Arkansas.
