My wife and I ate there on a Thursday night. Had to wait for about 10 minutes. Service was great. Pizza was OK. Pricey. A large supreme was $ 25. There’s better pizza in Little Rock US pizza and Irianas. Mellow mushroom is much better then damn good pies. Salads look great but we didn’t try one.

I’ll start by saying that I had the BEST. PIZZA. OF. MY. LIFE. here. I tried the Thai Dye, which was different and enjoyable. But I also tried the Holy Shitake Pie and it was perfect! I can’t eat cheese, but this pizza does not depend on the cheese to make it good, like so many mediocre pizzas do. The Holy Shitake Pie was garlicy and the mushrooms were cooked perfectly and there was just enough truffle oil. The crust was thin and crunchy as well… just perfect. The problem was I was there for 1.5 hours around 2:00 pm, it was not crowded, but it took FOREVER to get food. One of my friend’s pizzas burned so we had to wait another 30 minutes… but they did comp her pizza, which was very professional. I will be calling in my order for Holy Shitake Pies(I won’t ever order anything else, it was that good) and picking up when its ready instead of eating/waiting in the restaurant.

Was not happy with the service. Waitress was not friendly… Food came in late and that too cold… Burger patty was warm… The buns werent… Pizza was cold… I guess the waitress forgot about the food. When we complained… she warmed the pizza and brought it back… The dough was hard… It was my fav restaurant… Unfortunately i am not coming back agai

Excellent food and people. James the manager stopped by just to see if we were good. Not because there was a problemf, just because. Saw him do it to every table in the place at one point or another. Also, and this is most important, BESTBEERSELECTIONBYFARINWESTLITTLEROCK. If you like craft beer AND good food, thins is your place.

I like this place. The atmosphere is great and outgoing. They have brunch and a Bloody Mary bar on Sunday’s along with $ 2 mimosas. Can’t beat it. I always get the same thing: Fungi Bites to start with(I’m in love with the beer cheese dipping sauce that comes with it). And then the Kosmic Karma pizza, it’s delish!!! Give it a go!

A little quirky but pizza is good and a great selection of draft beers. Have also had the tomato and mozzarella salad which is nicely presented and tasty.

First discovered this little chain while vacationing in Panama City Beach. Was super excited to learn it’d be opening a location in Little Rock. Like a few others have said, the service can often be lacking. But the beer selection is great. And of course the pizza is top-notch. If you’ve never tried the Funky-Q or the Mauie Wowie, you’re doing yourself a disservice.

Met here for lunch today. The service started as though it’d be ok. We were informed it would take 20 to 25 minutes for our pizza. We got our drinks, and we caught up on things. Neither of us checking our watches when we ordered, we weren’t in a hurry with an hour and a half to have lunch. A while later, after noticing the guy who came in after us get his pizza, I began to wonder… where’s mine. I thought maybe the large took longer. The time was 11:50, and I knew we got there just after 11:00. So like I said, I didn’t notice the exact time we ordered, and thought maybe it’s about to be done. The waitress came to refill the drinks and set out the pizza stand, thinking good sign I waited. At 12:10 I realized there was a problem. My 1.5 lunch hour was about to end and no pizza. I found the waitress and she said oh I’m sorry I forgot to put your order in. It will be at least another 15 minutes. !!! BADBADBAD !!! So I did get to spend time catching up with my friend, unfortunately they ruined both of our lunches. We couldn’t wait any longer and had to leave. The manager was conveniently not available. The greeter also didn’t indicate how we could contact her. This is the worst experience I’ve had at a Mellowmushroom. The only thing the waitress did was say oops.

I’ve been here before and the pizza was awesome and so was the service. Yesterday…not so much. First of all, if I was writing this review on my food experience yesterday, I would give 4 stars. But the downer was the service last night… which is unfortunate. My boyfriend and I chose the Bayou Bleu pizza: blue cheese, shrimp and smoked sausage. Awesome concept and really not horrible… just could use a little extra something for flavor. I was expecting some spice or sauciness that earns something the name«bayou,» but it fell a little short. It’s one of those things that after you’ve had a slice or two, you’re over it and crave something else. Again, it wasn’t bad… just kind of «ehh.» Our waiter was obviously not feeling the«I’m here to work» vibe. Someone else brought our pizza to the table and about 3 minutes later, he cruised by our table and said«Can I get y’all anything else? Some ranch or dipping sauce maybe?» But after the word«else», he was walking away from our table and looking at something else. So we never had a chance to respond. By this time, I realized some sauce would make the pizza better so I wanted some red sauce. He came by our table 3 –4 times but never made eye contact or asked how we were. My boyfriend finally stuck his hand in front of him as he walked by. When he stopped, I asked if I could get a small cup of red sauce. He said«sure.» and then went to the back. He walked back up empty-handed and stood at the bar for a minute looking through tickets. Then went to the back. Then came back with some drinks for the big table next to us. At one point he looked at me and said«I’ll be right back with your sauce.» And then went to the back and came back with some appetizers for another table. Walked back to the bar to thumb through some tickets. Walked to the kitchen area where he sat and talked to another worker for a minute as he propped against a counter with his arms folded on his chest. He walked out past our table a few more times. Finally, about 20 minutes after asking for sauce, he brings it, lays it on the table and says«Here’s your sauce.» No apology for taking so long. Nothing. Didn’t offer to refill our empty drinks. Just«Here’s your sauce.» and walked away. When he brought our ticket and box for our leftover pizza, he then offered a drink refill… after we were obviously finished eating. I’m generally very sympathetic to waiters because I’ve been a waitress before. It’s hard… I get it. And things get chaotic. But this was Sunday night… not particularly busy at all. They didn’t appear to be short-handed. And even if so, a recognition that he messed up a little would be been nice… because it does happen.(I’m so sorry, I got sidetracked and should have brought this to you long ago…”) But nothing. Having said all that, the food was decent, the price was very reasonable, the service was lacking. I wouldn’t stop going here yet, but if I come back and the service is like this again, I won’t be back. Too many other options in this town.

Well made pizza! Some strange waiters had a hard time remembering what you were drinking. Cool atmosphere, what you would expect from a Mellow Mushroom.

Pizza’s here are decent. First time we came here we ordered the all meat pizza but when we got it there was hardly any meat. We didn’t realize it until we ate almost half the pizza. We did tell them and they noticed they didn’t put pepperoni or sausages on it but we felt it was a bit too late as we were starving. There is a long wait time even when there aren’t many people but at least it’s fresh. Kids love the cheese pizza where they have a parmesan crust. Tried the Parmesan and garlic pretzel and it wasn’t too bad. Our waitress, Hannah was really nice. They only deliver through chef shuttle which charges delivery fee and tip.

We had one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever been subjected to in a restaurant in my life. Last Monday night we went to a concert and wanted to have a late dinner with some close friends. We called to order ahead since it was late but were told that we couldn’t do that since there might not be a table available. We called back and made it a «to go». When we got to the restaurant there were only TWO tables occupied in the entire place so we decided to eat at the restaurant. We ordered drinks which automatically DOUBLED our original bill. When our pizza was ready the manager came over and told us that they normally don’t «allow» this since we ordered ahead and if we were served before a customer(apparently imaginary) who arrived before us got their order, they might get upset. Are you f**king kidding me? We really like Mello Mushroom and eat there 3 – 4 times a month. We now have a reason to try some of the other outstanding pizza restaurants in Little Rock. I got a pizza and a lecture for the same price. Pitiful.

Best PIZZA in Little Rock, maybe the best in Arkansas. I was really«Wow’d» there are so many types of topping combinations that you will never get bored! I ate here last night and I had a half meaty pizza and half buffalo chicken. Both choices were superb! I order a bayou bleu to-go for the boyfriend and he loved it! The shrimp on top of spicy bleu cheese sauce… Are you kidding me?! Lol I may have to diet for the next week but it’s way worth it! Also, the red sauce and the bleu cheese dressing are great!

The brunchcapades continue! $ 2 Mimosas for brunch. I’ll just leave that there. It was actually that that moved Mellow to the top of our brunch list — and they are solid, respectable mimosas! Good fizz, good orange juice, a solid pour, and just a little bit of orange pip left in the glass. Spot on! Now, their brunch is interesting, because they only do three specials, and they’re all«breakfast pizzas.» That is, omelettes cooked on pizzas. Sounds weird, but I’m all about it :) they have three specials that they serve for Sunday brunch, and the three of us opted for a half vegetarian, half Lumberjack(veggies plus bacon, ham, and sausage). The vegetarian half was no slouch, but that lumberjack stole the show. Great work on that bacon! They also have the special mimosas mentioned above, and a «build your own Blood Mary» menu — nice! It is a little funny recommending a place for brunch when there are only three brunch options, but as long as you’re expecting it, and the options are good, it’s a winning brunch. Not to mention, you can always supplement with the regular menu. We threw in a Stuffed Portabella and a… Mini Fungi? I think that’s what it was called — the Portabella’s were very impressive, and came with a salad drizzled with really good vinaigrette(it was thick, tangy, and delicious) and the Mini Fungi were little bites that came with a mustard/cheese dipping sauce that was *awesome.* We were pleased to see they have a sweet Happy Hour, something we haven’t found much of here in LR, and with their 40 beers on tap no less. The place itself has fun décor(see the pictures), great open interior space with both a bar and a dining area, if the weather’s nice the outdoor patio is well worth checking out. Granted, it’s in a parking lot, but still nice to be able to sit outside. Of all the places I’ve been so far, this is the absolute best one to bring a medium/big brunch group — they’ve got the space for it, the food is great for sharing, the service is solid, and atmosphere has a «hang out and chat» feel to it. I am pleased to say, today’s brunch was a wild success, and we will be back!

Sunday brunch from 11 till 2. There’s a couple different breakfast pizza options and mimosas are 2 dollars. They also have a decent sized bloody Mary bar.

Ate at this location once. Not likely to happen again. The food was meh. The worst part was the pizza dough was raw. Completely raw in the middle. It was sad because I like the chain. Update: Kudos to this place. After my review, I was contacted by this restaurant to get more information about my experience. I did have this meal on December 22, 2014. Maybe things have been addressed since then.

Food is amazing and the staff is always so friendly! Pizza cook times are always mentioned before you order so anyone complaining about how long pizza takes just needs to suck it up. If you want fast pizza go to Little Caesars. If you want amazing pizza then you won’t mind the wait at Mellow Mushroom! Lacy at the LR location is an amazing server! The management is always making rounds talking to guests every time I go! The atmosphere and décor is so amazingly fun it instantly puts you in a good mood! I love to take my dog with me and dine on the patio and I’m always greeted with a bowl of water for my hound and every staff member to come out the door comes over to say hi! The staff is always smiling, happy, and friendly every time! I have yet to have an issue! Well worth the prices and the wait! Definitely one of my top 3 favorite restaurants in Little Rock! :)
