Office Depot

This is the only office supply store I shop at any more, and this is why:
I have made several purchases of consumer electronics at this location, and ran into a problem with one of them. I called the manufacturer, and later the third party warranty I purchased. After over a dozen calls, I could not get the warranty people to take care of my problem, so, I went to the store and asked for their help. Even speaking with an Office Depot employee, the warranty people still wouldn’t cooperate, and the employee gave them what for! Finally, after it became evident that the warranty people wouldn’t help, the store took it upon themselves to replace the faulty item, and eat the costs for it.
According to another review, the store won’t take legitimate returns, but in my case, they took an item back, that they didn’t even have to. I can’t claim to understand why certain individuals may have had trouble at this location, but I will say, that I have always treated the employees with kindness and respect, and they have always provided top notch customer service, above and beyond the call of duty. I have never had a negative experience at this location, and consider the staff to be the friendliest, most intelligent, most considerate, and most accommodating of any store I’ve been to. I’d certainly recommend this location to anyone needing office supplies, consumer electronics, office furniture, computers, etc… After years of shopping with them, they have never left me disappointed.

Tried to return a purchase (same day) and was turned down because the checker had made a mistake ringing up an item (printer cartridge) to begin with and naturally that didn’t match what I brought back. The checker and manager insisted they had not made an error. This is the second time this has happened. Their mistake cost me three trips to the store and time I didn’t want to spend on the hassle. The only way I was able to resolve it was because I personally knew someone who worked there and was kind enough to fix it.
