The dark night walk down Clinton ave., the valets, and the live classical piano player all got us started out in the direction of a perfect meal. We had a group of 6 and were seated in the new booth. Wow we loved it. The waiter was great and had a sense of humor. We munched on hot bread while our food was being prepared(I’m afraid we almost ate it all). When my 10 ounce filet arrived cooked medium and Sonny style I’ll admit I was eager to try it. It was to perfection, seasoned and seared to a crust all the way around with a hot pink center(the best I’ve ever had). Then add the Blains asparagus and au gratin potatoes. I saved no room for desert. After reading all of the reviews on the Peanut Butter Cheesecake I wish I had.

Pricey but good steaks, great location, professional wait staff, piano player in the main dining room, valet parking. Only qualm is last time I went, they tried to seat my friend and I in the«overflow» section. I said no– I would rather wait for a table in the main dining area. The waiter was not assigned to our table but he was super friendly.

First time to eat here. We were not disappointed. Crab cakes and oysters for appetizers, perfectly cooked filet. Ordered a side of Blaine’s asparagus which was my new favorite way to eat asparagus. To finish the wife and I split the peanut butter cheesecake which was excellent. Great service and great food.

I go here for our work Christmas party every year. Everyone is so excited and they all rave about the steak. Am I the only one that has had a better steak or disagrees … Maybe so. My food was cold and the steak was so so bland. Cooked great but oh so flavorless. The best thing I had was the peanut butter cheese cake — oh hell yes!!! Give me more please ! Other then that I would never come here for food. Just the dessert. I will say our work rents out the place for a day and they cook and serve over 40 people at one setting one group. So I give them that. That may be why our food was a bit cold.

Wonderful service by Michael. And the pianist was a great added to tough. For the good, that was delicious. I had the crab cake appetizers and the sea bass entrée with broccoli and steamed asparagus. Yum. Not to mention the garlic mashed potatoes. Wow!!! Then the warm bread pudding to end the night. Is your mouth watering as I write this, as mine sure is. Definitely a place to visit while in Arkansas, Little Rock

Mediocre at best! I really don’t like to eat at steakhouses inside hotels(I know first world problem), and went looking for a free standing place and ended up here. My cohort and I ordered 6oz filets and shared the king crab legs. The filets were ordered medium rare and they showed up right after having the horns knocked off and showed up how I like my sushi grade tuna — ultra rare. Not much flavor or seasoning on the steaks, felt like I was back in Omaha having plain Jane steak. Crab legs were split as you’d expect and were ok. Wine selection was decent, ambiance and noise level were on par. Valets were funny and welcoming. French onion — this may be the best part of the meal although it may not be for everyone. It had a metric ton of gooey melted cheese and wasn’t a super salty broth. Not tons of onions either. The was great balance in this cup! Serving temp was perfect too and my taste buds actually made it to the main meal, although maybe I should have burnt then a bit? For the price, not sure I see the value in this visit. I can think of many steak houses bringing better bang for the buck.

It was a nice sit down restaurant with great, receptive service. I always get the filet and am never disappointed.

Here for a bachelor party and could have been better. Price per plate is $ 45 – 60 without drinks or apps. My steak was tasty but super tough. Friend had to send his back bc it was overcooked, then when they returned it was undercooked. Empty tables in this place and I understand why. Nobody I was with was super impressed, 8 of us.

Pleased. Great atmosphere and service. Ordered bone-in ribeye medium rare and it came out closer to medium, but I can deal with that. Crème brûlée was a little small, but all I needed. The asparagus with balsamic and bleu cheese was awesome. Would definitely go again.

I really really enjoyed my meal here. Doesn’t have the swanky design of the trendier restaurant across the street, but after spending three weeks in Vegas, getting a steak dinner for less than $ 50(including tip and wine) that tasted like gourmet home cooking was a big treat. I got the petite filet with green beans and rice and each were delicious and flavorful. I will say that medium well was more like medium but that was ok with me. Wish I had had room to try a dessert. Also loved listening to the live piano player! Will definitely return next time I’m in town.

Steaks were great! Fine dining. With steaks & wine plan on spending about $ 130 for dinner for 2!

Tried to email from your site, but it came back with errors. Here is what I sent; To whom it may concern, I took my wife there Saturday evening for our 1st Anniversary. I had called the day before to check availability as well as inform our anniversary plans, to which, they took down my information. I mention this because it was a waste of time, noticket so much as a «Happy Anniversary». When I pay $ 187 for a meal for 2 before tip, there are some things I have issue with. The ceasar salad my wife ordered had an odd taste, not a fresh taste. I have had a better ceasar at chili’s. my seafood bisque soup was missing seafood. It was all liquid, no crab or shrimp as explained. We both ordered a glass of wine with our entrée, a cabernet bell, which was poured short about half the typical wine glass pour. When my wife said something to our waiter, she was promptly ignored. In the picture of Chef Sipes on your webpage, it was half of what he has in the wine glasses pictured. We both ordered a NY strip steak. I ordered medium rare, she ordered medium and they were cooked identically. Not a huge issue in itself, but a $ 47 dollar steak should not have that much fat and gristle. I had to put several pieces into my napkin due to inability to chew them. My wife literally had to pause cutting her steak because of wrist fatigue from sawing away at her steak. I have served my children idahoan brand instant potatoes that had way more flavor then the garlic mashed potatoes that came with the meal. Lastly, when it came time for dessert my wife inquired about another patron’s cheesecake she saw(who was wearing flip flops by the way) and we had a cheesecake dropped off to the table. Never were we actually asked if we wanted to see a dessert menu nor was I asked if I wanted something. I did want something and she was done with her dessert before I had an opportunity to order one. All in all, when I spend that kind of money on one meal for 2 people, I expect much more attentive service, higher quality food, and a better overall experience. The experience at Ashley’s down the street has a better atmosphere, better food, and better pricing. I have taken a previous spouse there for an anniversary and they went as far as writing«happy anniversary» in chocolate on the dessert plate. Fortunately my wife enjoyed our TIME together during the meal enough to have a good evening, but she also didn’t see the bill I dropped $ 223 on with a tip. I will not eat there again, I will not recommend your establishment to anyone and I will gladly be taking my business elsewhere. Sincerely Disappointed, Robert

We love walking to this dark, romantic favorite for special occasions. Start with the shrimp and then a filet with Blaine’s asparagus and potatoes. We like to sit in the front corner next to the window with a glass of wine to watch the nightlife on Clinton avenue.

Wow what a great steak restaurant! We dined here for New Year’s Eve when many people had reservations but we were still welcomed without them and we were seated in the bar area. Our waiter was fast and efficient with getting everything out to us. I had the lamb with steak fries and he had the 10oz filet… It was absolutely amazing! I only wish we had saved room for dessert!

The décor is über cheesy and outdated, but some how it works. I love this place, I waited tables 4 star and it is nice to see actual professional wait staff that take pride in their work… but the food… pardon my french but HOLYSHIT it is good. I brought my 10 year vegetarian girlfriend here and… she now eats meat. MINDBLOWING food! and amazing service. Deducting a star because the décor is out of the 70s, but still I kind of like it.

Excellent service, adorable bartender, satisfactory food. Although we arrived just at closing, this generous, meticulously trained staff ushered us right in and never made us feel rushed. We were the second to last people to leave and they repeated over and over that we must stay, as if we were family(it’s a cliché, but it’s true). There are two TVs over the bar, and even though we were in Arkansas, they switched one of the TVs to the USC game so we could watch Steve Sarkisian fail AGAIN. Acceptably good ribeye, wonderful, satisfying wedge salads, and lovely bread pudding. Everything cooked exactly as requested. It was a bit overpriced. But you take what you can get, as they say.

Average. Not accurately priced for the final product. Service is also very average. Fine atmosphere for business dinner but I wouldn’t give it a second glance for a special event or date night. First thing waiter says to us is «sorry there are no specials» but I have to ask him to give recommendations for the table… Mediocre.

Great atmosphere — the service was spot-on at both the bar and at our table out on the patio. Prices seemed a bit high for Little Rock — Bone In Cowboy Ribeye $ 49, but that did come with a potato and a vegetable. Most importantly the steak had a great flavor and was cooked perfectly — Pittsburgh Rare!
