I was on my way thru Little Rock enroute to Boulder, CO. A «hard to find» gel pad for my TT bike blew off somewhere along the way. Saw their # on google, made a call .Waa laaa, he had one sitting. Not only that, but the operation when I got there was very impressive. Clean, organized, great selection, coffee bar and in a very cool part of town. Service staff could not have been more friendly. Thanks for bailing me out Spokes!

I turned my bike in on Wednesday, and they said they wouldn’t have it ready until the following Monday. I took this as they were going to be spending a good amount of time with/on my bike. When I called on Monday around 2 pm to see if my bike was ready, they said it hadn’t even been started on yet and that it wouldn’t be ready until 5 pm. Then I asked for a cost break down and they told me it would be $ 80 for labor alone. That didn’t even include any parts yet that I would need. When I asked what parts I would need, the man on the phone said he was not sure because it hadn’t been looked at yet. Then why have you had my bike for 5 days now? I cancelled my order. I could have had my bike over that entire weekend. But instead it was just sitting there doing nothing. $ 80 for probably like 30 minutes of labor? I found a cheaper tune up shop immediately.

This is a great bike shop in a great location. New owners have taken over from the old Orbea Factory store in Hillcrest(isn’t it actually Stifft’s Station?). Under new ownership, the store has expanded it’s floorspace and includes a wider variety of bikes from Niner Mountain Bikes to Cervello Road bikes and many in between. Spokes also carries the Orbea brand of which my family has three road bikes that we take to Spokes for service. The place is completely and very tastefully updated and features a coffee bar. A lot of riders from the area hang out for a coffee and do a bit of bench racing. Great atmosphere and the staff and owners rock too. Highly recommended.
