I wish I could give 0 stars. I had a worker lie to my face, charge me double, and then WINK at me after she did it tonight. I wanted to order one of the customer appreciation $ 2 subs, but I’m vegetarian. I recently visited family in Texas, and they let me order the cold cut sandwich with all the veggies, and just hold the cold cuts. I asked the girl upfront if I could do that, and she said yes. So she makes my sandwich and it’s time to check out. She charged me $ 4 for it. I told her she said she’d charge me $ 2, and she shushed me and nodded at the other woman behind the counter. Then she said she charged me the $ 3.75 plus tax for the veggie delight. Okay, stop. I wasn’t trying to do something shady. I straight up ASKED her if I could hold the cold cuts, because I was trying not to waste their food. Had she said no, I would have had options. I could have ordered the meat on the side, then tossed it, or I could’ve done the $ 5 footlong and at least gotten two sandwiches for under a dollar more. I wasn’t given that option, and she wouldn’t fix it. I had to pay double what I intended for some lettuce and cucumbers on some bread. I don’t even order cheese. I was still angry about it when I got home, so I called the store and asked for the manager on duty. The same girl answered the phone and lied to me again, telling me there wasn’t a manager there. Seriously? «Customer Appreciation,» my you-know-what… I’m still mad.
