Fabulous atmosphere, friendly service, and the best margarita I’ve ever had. The sweet potato kale taco and guac is to die for.

The food here is pretty good. I would probably give it 3−½ stars. My husband ate the bison burrito which was good. Of course, I had to try a bite. I had a sampling of tacos, and the pork were definitely the best. I actually had both pork options and a chicken. Unfortunately, we were too full to eat dessert as we had planned, but that is usually the case. Will go back, but it’s not our top pick for Mexican in Little Rock. My favorite is tacos and tamales. We haven’t tried Baja.

I love love love this place! One of my new favorites. Can’t believe I haven’t found this little joint sooner. Everything was great. I had the chilaquiles on the brunch menu and it was amazing, flavors were spot on and the portion size was huge!!! My friend had the Migas from the brunch menu, it was also great!(We did add some extra spice because that’s how we roll) The appetizer with the guacamole, jalapeño queso, verde salsa and red salsa was great, a little pricey but very tasty! I have a new addiction from there, it’s an adult drink called the Laney Lipsey– HOLYHELLLLLLL!!! Soooo GOOD ! I had quite a few of those and even went to the liquor store after to try to replica it at home !(Wish me luck) Anyhow I spent a lot of money there for lunch.($ 114 with tip) but it was all great and I have no regrets. I can’t wait to go back !! That price was for 2 entrees, 6 alcoholic beverages, the appetizer, desert and 2 coffees. So take it as you will. Yummmmm! Love The Fold!

Fancy tacos at a fancy price… wait why are tacos fancy, they aren’t. Skip it and hit one of the many amazing taqueria around town or even food trucks. The portions are small, lackluster and meh. Good speciality drinks. Also fancy price.

Came in sight unseen and was blown away by this place. It’s got a hole in the wall hipster feel in décor; but the food and cocktails speak for themselves. Don’t judge a book by its cover here.

We had no idea that in Little Rock on a Sunday, most restaurants are closed or if they are open, they close at 2 pm. So when we were looking for a place to eat for dinner after we saw a movie, this place looked like the best option on Unilocal. It has a tiny parking lot attached to it, but it was full, so we parked down the street and walked to it. It is a pretty small place in what looks like used to be a 50s gas station. We had great service and the food was pretty good too. I got a bison burrito with queso as my entrée and then shared the churros for dessert. My only regret is that I wish I would have gotten an order of churros to eat by myself.

Pretty disappointed in the food quality and poor service. Tacos were cold, the bison was dry, and took 45 minutes to come out. Cheese dip was watery and also took a long time to get to our table. Margarita was good. Churros were just okay and took a long time to come out as well… Granted the place was not at full capacity either. Server took 20 minutes from the time she took our credit card to run it. It may have been a fluke night, but likely won’t come back.

This is a hidden gem to me. It’s in a smaller, relatively tight space. Somewhat forgotten being tucked into Old Cantrell right behind the infamous Loca Luna, but they have great quality food at a reasonable price. I think of it as a more progressive Latin cuisine– not quite the same as a Baja Grill or Heights Taco and Tamale… These guys have really great and unique burritos(bison burrito anyone?) as well as a long list of tacos, tamales, and snacks. Service is friendly. Prices are reasonable(think 10 – 11.50 for an entrée) and I like that they provide the option to get individual tacos for $ 3.25.

After spending a weekend in Little Rock visiting family, my husband and I were determined to eat at The Fold before heading home. The exterior of the restaurant was enough to pull me in — I mean, I didn’t even know what they served, but it reminded me of a 1950s Laundromat so there was no way I wasn’t going in. Probably no one else would agree, but the point is THEYGOTME. Come to find out, it was Mexican. Oh yay! Mexican is my favorite food genre so I knew I would be in for a treat. We started off with a cocktail. I opted for the Watermelon Mojito and it was very tasty. I’m sure this drink isn’t around in the winter, although it should be. Refreshing and good. Started off with the guacamole. I looooooove guacamole. Like, I hardly ever meet a guacamole I don’t like just simply because it is what it is. But this guacamole knocked my socks off. So fresh, such a clean flavor, and a chunky consistency(instead of guacamole purée). I could’ve just eaten that and walked away happy ANDSTILL given the restaurant 5 stars. But we went ahead and ordered some a la carte tacos. I went for the veggie one and a chicken one and hubby went all pork. All the ingredients used tasted incredibly fresh. They were messy, but man were they good. The tacos are the only item on the menu that was a la carte, but they had lots of yummy sounding entrees to pick from as well. Rice was fluffy, and beans were seasoned very well. Excellent meal, fun atmosphere — kind of hipster and not at all like a Laundromat, although I can’t shake that vibe. I’d come back here again and again if I was a local. Highly recommend.

I love the a la carte tacos. The brunch is good, and the guacamole is small. The environment is pretty fun.

Yum. Love small plates and served on a tortilla makes everything better. I wish they would advertise so I remember them more often; I generally pass by after eating at Faded and think«Damn it» Tuna and shrimp dishes stand out but I seriously don’t think you can go wrong.

This is one of my favorite places to come and eat when we are visiting my husbands family in Little Rock. They are also very kind and accommodating to gluten free needs(Celiac). Great service every time.

Run, don’t walk. This joint is excellent, the Ceviche was divine, fish taco is cooked to temp not tough. Layered flavor in the Chicken Burrito. We’ll be back

Get the churros. There is Unilocal coupon for it. You can thank me later. In fact, get two plate of churroses or three will also work. Yes you will die eating them as I think there is enough cholesterol on that thing to kill a bear, but who cares. They taste sooooo good.

We visited the Fold on Valentine’s Day for lunch. Loved the restaurant décor and vibe! It reminded me of restaurants you see on the west coast — very laid back and relaxing. Service was pretty shoddy, but I suppose that is somewhat to be expected on a holiday. The food was good, although not exceptional. We tried varying street tacos and cheese dip. Overall, all was enjoyed.

I was very optimistic about the food after reading a lot of glowing reviews but the food fell flat. The tacos were totally meh(I tried the shrimp, fish and mushroom) and the tamales entrée was VERY spicy. I am a fan of spice, I am Pakistani and grew up eating spicy food, however this was not the good kind of spicy. It was the burning mouth, can’t-enjoy-your-food spicy. Really the salsa was the culprit here, but since it was poured all over the tamales it was impossible to avoid. The best things we ate were the nachos appetizers and the churros for dessert, but it’s hard to mess up chips with queso and fried dough. Service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance as you probably already know, was hipster quirky, complete with bikes hanging from the ceiling. It’s not the worst Mexican food in town by any means but it’s on the pricey side for what it is so I’m not sure when I’ll be back.

The Fold has quickly become my go-to date night place in Little Rock. Great margaritas, reasonably priced yet delicious fare, cool atmosphere, and generally good service keep me coming back. I wish I could add more, but my thoughts are generally in line with other four and five-star reviewers. I do like the chair with the fox fur on it, even though it might freak out some of the clientele…

The drinks are amazing, the blood orange ‘rita, pineapple mojoto is refreshing and tastes exactly like straight pineapple juice. We had shrimp, fish, bison both pork tacos and they were the best tacos I’ve had. They rival texas. The servers are all so friendly. What a great find Sunday brunch is to die for by the way.

Great space, great food, great people! Unlike many restaurants of this style, the chips and salsa(or guacamole) are not free — but man! Order them, and you’ll see why! I can personally vouch for the chips(they could be a meal by themselves) and the tacos(pork, both kinds of chicken, and veggie). Great stuff! **Bonus points for being open late!

The atmosphere was a little strange when I went. The music inside was fairly loud, and service is rushed. Other people there tended to have a more conservative appearance and demeanor than I had expected, though I have no way to know if that’s typical. The setup is interesting, it’s an old converted gas station. The parking is awkward. There are some solid vegetarian and vegan options, and it’s generally easy to get gluten-free stuff by going for corn tortillas. I don’t think there’s any soy on the menu. I like the food here quite a bit, but the staff are not great with allergy issues so you need to be proactive about asking what’s in things, especially sides.
