Good watches, lousy customer service. No email confirmation or way to track orders made by phone. I paid extra for fast shipping and my watch band did not arrive. Now they are closed the whole week of Christmas, so I have no way to follow up.

Horrible customer service. First, they actually have the nerve to charge you to make a warranty claim, in my case an amount close to 20% of the purchase price. next, they make no effort to turnaround in a reasonable time, having son sensitivity that one cannot be without ones watch for weeks!
Whoever heard of a company that charges you to file a warranty claim? If anm argument could be made for that, maybe in connection with an expensive item, but $ 8 for a $ 45 item. It is ridiculous!
Update: I received a check in the amount of $ 8.00 from Timex, with notation «Attorney General». Apparently, the practice of charging to process a warranty claim was either illegal (California or National?), or someone sued them over this. I have 3 wonderful Timex Watches, and recently sent my Timex Expedition (Vibrating) watch in due to Indiglo not functioning any longer.

Some of the WORST SERVICE EVER!
I love Timex watches and have owned several in the past 65 years.
My problem is with their ‘Service.‘
First of all, my last call to them, as I write this, took over 22 minutes to talk to someone, even though, for the last 18 minutes, my «approximate wait time» was one minute!
It’s not the first time I’ve waited a long time to talk to someone.
There are more problems with their service.
An extended, 2 year warranty is offered for $ 5. However, this information is the last thing mentioned in the instructions that come with the watch. I didn’t read the instructions because I didn’t need them. I’ve had watches like this before and setup is easy.
When I asked about repairing the watch, which broke after owning it for slightly over two years, they told me it was out of warranty and didn’t care that I would have bought the extended warranty for two years for $ 5 had I known about it.
It took about a month to get my watch back. It wasn’t repaired, it was replaced.
Timex wants $ 32.48 for the replacement. It only carries a 6 month warranty, and I can not purchase an extended warranty for $ 5.00.
Amazon sells the same watch for $ 36.61. That’s $ 4.12 more than the replacement watch, but it carries a one year warranty and I am able to purchase an extended two year warranty for $ 5.
This is insane!
The last person I spoke to, after waiting 22 minutes, told me they could reduce the charge to $ 20, but that was the best they could offer. I offered to pay $ 12.00 based on $ 5 for the extended warranty and a $ 7.00 handling charge all people getting service pay.
I’ve asked for someone in management to call me.
Someone from management called and wanted to charge me $ 25! When I told her I was already offered $ 20, she said she would match that and it was the best she could do. No change in the 6 month warranty and no option to purchase an extended two year warranty for $ 5.00
