Spa At Little River Inn

I absolutely love going to the Spa at Little River Inn. My husband and I are regulars at the Little River Inn and one of the reasons we love this place (besides the cozy bar, great bartenders, friendly staff and dog friendly rooms) is the Spa. It is not an über fancy, city spa (which wouldn’t work well on the coast) but it is a super comfortable, clean, relaxing day spa and the treatments are always great. I either have a facial or massage (sometimes both) every time we visit the Inn and my trip wouldn’t be complete without spending 90 or so minutes in the Spa. Laurie is my go-​to therapist and I only have wonderful things to say about the way she takes care of my skin and/​or gets the knots out of my back. I highly recommend checking this place out!

We have been staying at the Little River Inn several times these past years and years in the past. One of the reasons we go to The Little River Inn because of their spa services and the people that perform the services. We have had several facials, massages, and body treatments but this is one of the nicest. The practitioner by the name of «Lori» is wonderful. Not only does she perform a great service, she has great knowledge and professionalism when she is working on you. They are well diverse with their services and they have some great products for purchase. I would highly recommend utilizing the services at the Spa if you visit Little River Inn.

Just got done with massage, facial and paraffin treatment. It was perfect and I didnt find the rooms «cold» as other Unilocalers complained.
I’m very sleepy now!

I was treated to an hour-​long massage here by my lovely bridesmaids during our bachelorette weekend.
My masseuse was kind and did a wonderful job. She did some fabulous work on my shoulders (where I seem to hold the majority of my stress) and left me feeling relaxed and centered.
Overall, the facilities are very nice and the staff are enormously friendly and accommodating!
My only complaint, and thus the reason for my three star review — the massage room was not a very welcoming environment for a relaxing massage. Perhaps it’s simply my personal preference, but I like to have a nice, warm and dimly lit room to achieve the ultimate relaxation. The room that my massage was done in was really bright and rather chilly. My masseuse was kind enough to provide me with an eye pillow while I was on my back, but when on my stomach, the brightness of the room made it hard to fully relax.
Overall it was a wonderful experience — hopefully they can make some adjustments to the room to provide a more relaxing atmosphere.

Came here for a massage. The room was freezing. It was hard to enjoy and relax because I was so cold. I asked for another blanket and she put a heating blanket on me but it took forever to heat and I was pretty much cold the whole time. I don’t understand not keeping the room warmer or having the table heated before I even get on it. I mean I am naked and lying there with just a sheet.
When it was finished I saw that my husband’s masseuse was standing outside his door with a glass of water while he changed. Mine did not. She also did this weird toe thing which tickled horribly. The overall experience was not great and I did not feel «massaged» after at all.
Also we were on time for the appointment but the minute we walked in the receptionist was like you are with her and you are with her and they whisked us off without offering any tea or water. I guess I am just used to more of a spa-​like experience, and expected much more from Little River Inn.

I’ve been going here since 8^th grade! And I’m 22 now! The ladies are awesome and really KNOW how to cut and color hair as well as do updos for proms and weddings.
I see Stacy regularly whenever I visit home and Lynn (owner), but all the hairdressers are great. They’ll listen to you and they know what looks good as well. I’ve had massages here also and they’re great and their mani/​pedis are well worth it!
They don’t charge extra money for any designs or rhinestones on your nails: D

The service was EXCELLENT and the staff was VERY FRIENDLY! I had THE BEST MASSAGE OF MY LIFE here (and I’ve had many massages at different high end spas). If you have a chance to get a facial and massage, I highly recommend LAURIE HILL. She’s awesome, knows exactly how much pressure to use, and is very professional.
