Food, gifts, nic naks, specialty items, sooooo much stuff. This place was awesome. Didn’t get to eat the bbq, plan to next time though. There is rooms of everything like every soda you can think of & dried fruit/veggies, etc. I was probably here for a hour & bought a few things. I even got a old canceled Coke check from the 40’s to add to my collection of collectibles. Plan to go back next time when I’m in the area. There is lots of parking too.

Great place interesting tourist trap. If your in need of a life size Elvis statue or lacking Gnomes in your garden no better place to shop. They really have impressive food here everything from deer jerky to a bunch of shakes, candy, wine room, fresh fudge counter. The smoked meats burgers and other food are top notch. The lines are long but worth the wait. They do take phone orders during the week but too slammed on weekends.

We’ve only been here 3 or maybe 4 times and continuously get the brisket plate(so damn good it’s nearly ridicules)… It’s takes around 45 mins to get your order but that’s not a problem given the massive amount of everything that they have for sale. We usually spend about 50 for dinner(feeds four with a good amount of left overs) and around 50 on random items.

Got the tri tip sandwich with the cowboy beans and it was really good, ate the other half this morning and craving again today lol. I definitely recommend the BBQ here, it had just the right amount of smoke in the meat, usually I’m not the biggest fan of BBQ sauce but this stuff is darn good, a little sweet with a tad of spices, smokey and a little tang. Combo sandwich with one side was 9 bucks and it’s a really nice portion size.

We aren’t part of the ghetto crowd, as one reviewer stated the customers here are. That is unless white collar professionals now qualify as ghetto. But more to the point, why judge people ? Just come to this place with an open mind, like you go to the carnival or the fair. Lots of stuff to see and smell and taste. With lots of different kinds of people in small spaces. It’s very worth it. Just like the fair !

So many unique things from all kinds of different things you can imagine. Best part of their different variety is that there’s different things for all age groups. And the food in the restaurant and their deserts are amazing. The reason for not giving a five star review is only because the service doesn’t do this place justice.

Had the salad with steak and the steak was tender and delicious! They had plenty of pieces and I couldn’t finish it. I’m not sure if they were busy and the service was slow or they generally have slow service, but keep that in mind when ordering food– it could have simply been what I ordered. Also had the peach malt and it was great! There are actual peaches in there, adding to the flavor and the texture was creamy. It’s a great stop to and from Vegas and just to grab some food or have fun. I didn’t even hit all the different stores there, but checking out the stuff is entertaining. You might also find that candy item you haven’t tried before or which is simply not available locally except in candy shops.

This review is not rated because of what they provide at Charlie Brown Farms, but of the service that is provided by the workers and managers there that obviously need to be trained in customer service much more properly than they are. My husband and I are locals in the area and every time we have visitors come to stay with us we take them to Charlie Brown farms because of the diverse variety of gifts and unique items that you cannot find in normal stores. We have a certified emotional support animal in the form of a 4 pound rescued Chihuahua that is only carried around in a bag. Our dog goes everywhere with us and has been to Charlie Brown’s Farms three different times now. The first time our dog got unnoticed, the second time we were approached very rudely by Evette, and told off in front of customers in the front of the store that we could not have a dog and a dog was not allowed in the store. We understand that a lot of stores do not want animals and we respect that policy, however, when you come in with any animal, or have a certified animal that is in a bag and not even walking on the store floor, you are supposed to ask if it is a service animal first before you make any judgment. The third time that we were in Charlie Brown Farms was yesterday around 2PM. This time was the last straw for me as I had my mother with me at the time who also grew up in this area and really enjoyed going back to one of her favorite places. Evette was at the front of the store again as we were walking out with our purchase and proudly used her bad attitude and ignorance of service animal policies to tell us loudly and aggressively once again that a dog was not allowed in the store. This was very embarrassing and awkward especially in the fact that my mother was right beside me and we were disrespected in front of the other store employees as well as customers around us. I have never experienced such a rude behavior from a person that is supposed to be an example to their employees and know about the policies in running a business. I truly hope that Charlie Brown Farms can be informed of the policies surrounding service animals and emotional support animals. There is a reason why these animals exist and why they are legally allowed in stores no matter the animal policy. I also sincerely hope that Evette will learn some manners as well as how to properly treat customers in public. Until then I am sad to say that I will no longer be bringing any visitors or anymore guests into the store until I feel better about the situation.

Fun stop along the highway, with dried fruit, nuts, tshirts, cool sculptures, displays and eclectic food. I usually find a funny sign or card to break up the drive between Vegas and the CA coast. There is plenty of parking, but it is best to stop on the way back to the coast, since left turns are hard to make on this route.

What a Nice Selection of good meats, gifts etc… so many things to see & eat. Here to try their Fresh Ostrich Burger & Garlic fries. The food cooking smells tempting in this place. The O meat is somewhat dry & doesn’t have the fat that beef does which worked out gr8 for me along with the soft bun & veggies, all good good good. The Cactus honey is one of their best, it has a unique flavor. The Eucalyptus honey is also nice but a little too sweet in comparison. I can’t wait to try their Avocado honey.

Found this place when my 3-year-old came home from preschool and claimed that there was a place called Charlie Brown’s that serves«healthy milkshakes.» I thought this must be an urban playground myth, but lo and behold when I Googled it, Charlie Brown’s exists and they serve date shakes. So, I planned a hike in Devil’s Punchbowl(highly recommended) so that we would have a good excuse to drive an hour and a half from LA. I am tempted to give it four stars because my husband loved the ribs he ordered and my daughter had an all-around fun time, but I kind of found this place to be «meh.» For example, I bought an apple there and it was rotten(brown) inside. However, the cowboy beans, my tri-tip and my daughter’s burger were delicious and the date shake did the trick. Not to mention, I bought six kinds of ginger ale/ginger beer and that has been a hit in our household. We also bought some nuts and honey, which I haven’t tried yet. I would stop by again if my daughter really wanted to, but would not go out of my way.

Weird little Roadside attraction in the middle of Littlerock. Seemed like mostly everyone in there were tourists or maybe stopping on their way to Vegas. I got the date shake(which was just alright, nothing special) and my dad got an ice cream cone. 3 stars only because there were a lot of flavors for a shake and a cool looking menu with a lot of(overpriced but cool) candy/knick knacks. Place is not the cleanest. Aisles are very narrow and it was busy in there, so be prepared to be stuck behind a stroller that is blocking the aisle lol. They have old Soda pop, candy, produce, little gifts and collectibles, along with their food menu and shakes/deserts. On the left side there is a fudge counter! One thing to say though… The staff was horrendous! The cashier for the food was so rude and no one knew where the line started so she was making us all feel dumb there. The staff is made up of kids who look like they are still in high school so maybe that’s why. As I was leaving one of the staff girls was calling the other staff member the N word as a friend thing or joke but I thought that was inappropriate as you are on the job and it is offensive to people. Outside they had pony rides and I saw some little Dino statues in the side corner.

One could easily spend a few hours here exploring. This place has anything, and everything you could imagine, and then some. Do yourself a favor and grab a basket, save your arms for another time. There’s fresh produce, fresh local honey, sweets of all sorts(I got chile spiced gummy bears!), an entire room dedicated to glass-bottled sodas common and uncommon, frozen game of all types(kangaroo anyone?), puzzles, incense, religious items… Then an entirely separate building for MORE things. Coca Cola items, dragons, skeletons, salt and pepper shakers, wine holders, you name it. There’s also a place to order food, which is perfect after you’ve tortured yourself perusing aisle by aisle for hours. Someone recommended the tri-tip, I rebelled and got a Nathan’s Chicago dog with garlic fries. They hit the spot. The fries were ridiculously large and filling however, so sharing is caring. The people I encountered working here were absolute sweethearts, which makes me excited to visit again sometime.

While pulling up to Charlie Brown’s, you get that good olé country feel. They really had some great novelty items. I wanted to try the chocolate covered bacon but was more in the mood for the food we were about to eat. besides, I bought the whiskey-barbeque and the volcano beef jerky. If you are ever in the area, you need to stop in and pick up some goodies. I had the bbq brisket with potato salad and I couldn’t finish it. My wife ordered the Angus burger and it was too big for her so portion size is not to be neglected. I tried some of her garlic fries and they were crisp and loaded with melted cheese and garlic. The price was well below what you’d expect to pay for the beef quality. Twelve of us ate for under $ 130 and that included a sandwich, side, and drink for everyone. The kids even got ice cream. Don’t expect 5-star table settings and find china. This is a country place which means that you get a to-go container so I don’t want to hear any prissy-sissy rants when you come here. Roll up your selves and have fun! The system is a bit funky but they will guide you though it. You order up front and then take a seat in the back where the dining are is because you don’t wait up in front. They then call you by name and you pick up your food. That should give you enough time to prepare your drinks and find a table to set your napkins, fork, knife, etc. We had a group of 12 and they were extremely patient with us. The ladies running the place are friendly and they know their products. With all the questions we had, I thought we would drive them crazy but they answered each and every one of them. Now let’s get to the food! I ordered the beef brisket. It was thick and so tender. So tender, that it will surprise you. I’ve been eating brisket for so long that I expected the same thing here, but I was happy to find it flawless! The barbecue sauce was not too sweet and had a smokey flavor that I found addictive. Even my wife loved it and she doesn’t eat beef that often. As much as I resent long drives, I’m now looking forward to the next time I have to pass through town to eat here again!

What can I say about Charlie Brown Farms that hasn’t probably already been said? Well if you’re like me and like to stop off at quirky places while on a road trip, than this is the place for you. This store is filled with a bunch of really odd merchandise. There’s the food section which has foods like fresh honey and ostrich eggs. Then there’s the merchandise section that has everything from lunchboxes to dream catchers. Plus it has its own attached restaurant, which is where my friend and I decided to have lunch at on our way to Vegas. I had the tri-tip sandwich with curly fries while he had the pulled pork sandwich with potato salad. It took awhile to get our food. But that was no problem because we kept ourselves busy wandering around the store. The food was decent and on the large side. I could only eat half of mine. Something to consider, the bathrooms here are located on the outside of the building on the side next to the parking lot. I would say they are just a step up from a port-o-potty in that it uses running water. I recommend only using their bathroom under extreme circumstances.
