My friend and I drove up from LA on Saturday for apricots, peaches, figs, and plums. The people are super friendly and informative, the prices are great($ 1.85 per pound — cash only), and the fruit is top notch. It’s worth a trip for the fruit and for the experience. We are eating fresh fruit and cobbler all week! The plums have largely been picked and are in short supply. The apricots are thinning out. But it’s high time for peaches, so go get ‘em!

The people that run this place are some of the friendliest I’ve ever met. We just picked 48lbs of peaches in half an hour and they’re so good, They even make the ones you get at the farmers markets taste blah. The rows of trees are well kept and early in the morning whenever we go we’re usually the only ones there and it’s a great way to relax. This year we’ve been twice and next year it’ll be more.

Best peaches ever! I also picked apricots and plums that were divine as well. I am going back tomorrow for a second go. Highly recommend the u-pick experience. Go early to avoid the heat. The owner was there the day I went and she is lovely and kind, too. Great experience for the little ones and they get to taste a truly ripe and honey sweet peach right from a tree. Yummmmm!!!

My family and I went on a weekday so we were the only ones in the orchard picking. It was very relaxing and the people who work there are very nice. Calling ahead is a good idea and you need to bring cash and some containers or boxes to bring home your haul. We picked two bucket fulls of peaches that will be eaten fresh as well as turned into jam, preserves and pie filling. The prices have gone up in the last few years. We paid $ 1.75 a pound for u-pick peaches. A wonderful little ranch that was worth the drive. I will visit again if I am in the general area.

Yes, this is a great place to pick fruit. I went on a weekday, so we were the only ones there. The owners are really friendly and easy going. Unlike my Oak Glen apple picking experience, where the orchards were tiny and touristy, and the prices high, there is a large orchard of pears, apples, peaches where they let you roam and pick fruit unsupervised. And the fruit is good! The u-pick season is now over for 2009. Calling ahead is a good idea.

Although the temperature was close to 100 °F the day we went, we had a lot of fun picking peaches here.(Gene Elberta, sweet and juicy!) The farm is open June-October, and the owners are very friendly. U-pick fruit is 95 cents/pound; they provide you with buckets to pick fruit and also cardboard boxes to take them home(although they ask you to bring your own containers). They also have u-pick plums, pears, apples, and other fruit. Each week, a few varieties are ready for picking. It’s best to call ahead to make sure the fruit you want is ready to pick.
