Cake’s Amore

They did our wedding cupcakes and wedding cake and they were great! We got a lot of compliments on them. They were beautifully decorated, moist, and delicious! They are also pretty affordable too!

Had a 90^th birthday party for my father-​in-​law and came to Cakes Amore for a Hawaiian themed 9 – 0 cut out cake. It was stunning what they delivered and the cake tasted amazing too — very moist and delicious.

Never a bad cake from this bakery! Always delivered just as I’ve ordered, if not better!!! Everyone always asks me where my cakes are from… try the butter pecan flavor, delicious!

Good cakes. But the service over and over again has left much to be desired. At times it seems as if you are inconveniencing them when they take your order or help you out.

Ordered a carrot cake decorated for my fiancé birthday. Visually, it was worthy of more photos than we took. This cake was art. Then we cut into it, and our tastebuds enjoyed it at least as much as our eyes.
I’m sure it’s somebody’s birthday again in another week or so…

Definitely not the cake boss just a local cake decorating place. I could get the same cakes at King Soopers and pay less. If you have some decorating skills you probably could make one yourself. The place is great if you just want an average decorated cake.

LOVE this bakery! Their cakes and goodies are nothing short of amazing and I am just as in love with the staff. My husband & I have since given up on baking anymore occasion cakes and have upgraded to Amore cakes.

Unimpressed to say the least. Rude decorater, no fondant for specialty cakes, & sloppy cakes in the old cake books. I am Not giving a rude decorater my money. I did buy a couple cookies for my toddler, only because I told her I would before we arrived. Never going back. The lady’s attitude has lost all of my future business for Cakes Amore. Counter helper was a bit more pleasant, but not enough to make up for the rude decorater. Maybe next time smile at your customers and act like you care.

Debbie took my order for a 65^th birthday cake for my husband. The cake was beautiful and delicious. She asked me about him so she could add some special decorations. A wonderful touch. Very pleased.

All I can say is «Wow!» Cake’s Amore not only made a beautiful cake for our wedding, but the cake was also absolutely delicious — best of not only wedding cakes we’ve had, but cakes in general. We hardly had any leftovers, and we ordered a larger cake for the number of people that attended the wedding if that’s an indication of deliciousness! The staff listened to our ideas and asked for clarification with the design after I emailed photos of some ideas I had. They were straightforward and know what they are doing. We were thinking of doing cupcakes when we started planning the wedding and went to tastings with other bakeries before finding Cake’s Amore. Most of the other bakeries wouldn’t return calls or gave us the runaround with pricing (one other bakery even tried to charge us an additional 20% because they were a «dessert catering company,» not just a bakery and were charging for their «vision» — needless to say, we were fed up and started looking for other options). I am so glad we found Cake’s Amore. Their pricing was within our budget and the delivery fee was reasonable. After seeing photos of the bakery’s beautiful cakes, we decided on a three-​tier cake instead of cupcakes. It was gorgeous and timeless. Cake’s Amore helped make our wedding day so beautiful.

We love this place. My wife gets cupcakes for new accounts at her company. They silk screen the logos on and they always turn out fabulous. We have had custom cakes for birthdays from them. Their choice of cakes and frosting is enough to put you in cake heaven! I’ve had the strudel for brunch as well which they always seem to have fresh and ready for takeout. Can’t go wrong other than I wish they were open ²⁴⁄₇!

The best cake I’ve ever ordered it turned out absolutely beautiful I will always return to get my cakes made from them great prices and they listen to exactly what your needs are!!!

The cakes are great from Cakes Amore and I will continue to purchase cakes from them, but I ordered 3 dozen Christmas cookies from them for Christmas Eve. I was told they would be butter cookies. I did not notice until I got home that the cookies they put in the box were 36 individual shrink wrapped cookies made by another company. They were NOT butter cookies and they were inedible! They were hard as a rock and had to be several months stale. Very disappointing… we threw them out and threw a bunch of money down the drain at the same time.

If you’ve got kids, this is a great place. Custom cakes, cake pops, cup cakes, cookies. We haven’t had anything from here that we didn’t like, and it’s such a fun spot. Service has always been fast and friendly.
Prices are okay, not great but not outlandish.
If you’re looking for a special occasion cake, this is a MUCH better choice than the local grocery store.

Great cakes and treats. Not the friendliest service. I went on a Friday afternoon and the young girl working at the front seemed bothered and impatient with my questions about their flavors. Not at all friendly.

I now think your opinion of this place will depend on what you get. I stand by my previous review, but for what’s it’s worth, the chocolate cupcake with chocolate frosting I had from here last night was terrific.

Moist, fresh, delicious! Last weekend, I picked up a cake for a bridal shower. I had to pick up the cake early and the ladies in the shop were gracious enough to let me make that pickup before they opened their doors for the day. One look at the cake and it turned out even better decorated than what I had in mind when I ordered it. The quality of the cake was outstanding. I ordered a white cake with lemon Bavarian crème filling and fresh strawberries and selected their white butter cream frosting. The cake was one of the most moist I have ever had and everyone at the party raved about the filling. Even those who aren’t big frosting fans, love their butter cream.
Also, check out their huge selection of cupcakes and I LOVE their meringue cookies which even now come in lemon flavor. Everything they bake is the perfect balance of flavor, freshness and texture.

I’ve walked into this place on 2 occasions.
The first time I happened to be in the area and saw the sign and being a sucker for a nice bakery, decided to pop in for a look-​see. The mouthwatering aroma of freshly baked cakes hit me as soon as I opened the door and I’ll be damned if I wasn’t hypnotized into walking out of there with a baker’s dozen of assorted cupcakes for no reason other than they were beautiful to look at. I’m ashamed to say that my hubby and I hoovered our way through that entire dozen (+1) over the weekend.
A couple months later, I needed some goodies for a friend’s birthday party and remembered the awesomeness from my first visit and made the drive all the way from Golden just to pick up 18 of their lovely cupcakes (’cause that’s the kind of friend I am). Okay, just don’t tell the birthday girl that 6 of those cupcakes didn’t make it to the party for some unknown reason…
Good God, I’m glad this place is so far from my neighborhood!

Hands down the best cupcakes I’ve had since moving to Denver in August. I went in to Cakes Amore after seeing a segment on the bakery on 9News, and I’m so glad I did!
I was hoping to get my favourite flavor, Red Velvet, but they hadn’t made it this week. Cakes Amore has SIXTY cupcake flavors that they rotate. Today when I went on a Saturday, I think they had about 14 flavors available for me to choose from, and I showed up at the end of the day. I think a few other flavors had already sold out for the day. I ended up taking home five different flavors: Brownie Delight, Razzleberry, Oreo, Strawberry Cheesecake, and Funfetti.
I couldn’t decide about my last flavor and the awesome guy helping me actually gave me the extra Funfetti cupcakes for free since it was my first time in the shop! Absolutely awesome customer service and a nice family business.
Now the cupcakes… deliciously moist and amazing icing! Every flavor stayed moist even though I waited several hours to eat most of them. My husband’s favourite was the Brownie Delight with chocolate cake and baked in brownie with fudge icing, and I loved the Razzleberry with its raspberry fruit filling and raspberry buttercream. None of the cupcakes were a disappointment, and I was extremely pleased with how each cupcake held its own even after sharing a box with the others for several hours.
Yes, it’s a little out of the way down in Littleton, but it is worth the trip. I drove 20+ minutes there from my house, and I can’t wait to go back and try more flavors. Definitely check out Cakes Amore!
