Having to go to an actual liquor store still feels weird to me since I lived in California forever and you could buy booze anywhere. Here in Colorado you’re restricted to liquor stores for the most part, and in most cases they’re depressing places as well as grossly overpriced.
Columbine is great, on the other hand. The staff is always super friendly and I always find what I want at the best price around. I used to be loyal to Arrow Liquor Mart at Wadsworth/Bowles but not anymore. Their prices have gone up, they’re always out of my brands, and I have had some gnarly-rude service from that biker-looking dude.

With this being my go-to liquor store in my neighborhood, it’s only obvious i would like:
–The prices. Cheaper than other liquor stores in the area and the staff usually hooks you up with a discount :)
— The staff is awesome :) super friendly & nice, knowledgeable about new liquor or beer arrivals, and are helpful in finding exactly what you are looking for.
— The building itself is always clean and nice when entering, which always helps :)
–The owner is a hoot! Super friendly, nice and is usually seen with a smile on his face.
