Edible Arrangements

I love this place. I’ve gotten chocolate covered strawberries as a gift and have also ordered strawberries for someone else. you can get them delivered or pick them up. I personally like the white chocolate covered strawberries with the dark chocolate drizzle. they are awesome. Besides strawberries they have tons of other fruits that they dip in chocolate like bananas, mango, apples, pineapples etc you can also buy a teddy bear and balloons and cards there in their store. I have never had a problem ordering or picking up my strawberries. I just love this place. the workers are always friendly and nice when I go in and I get emails with coupons and their specials.

I am out of state and my mother is 80 so a fruit bouquet always seemed like a nice gift. I have used this location on more than one occasion. I called to see if she received her gift. Her answer was no. Because she is 80 it takes her a few minutes to get to the door, when she got there she found a note that her gift was next door. My mother was a little embarrassed to tell me that the delivery I pay for has alway gone to the neighbors. Not really or always knowing the neighbor she would have to go ask for her gift. She was unable and unwilling to do it this time. Her thoughts were you paid extra to have something delivered to me not the neighbor and it is not my job to do their job. My question to who ever can answer it is… How safe is it to leave food with strangers and expect it to still be safe? I called the location to let them know I was not happy and I was going to cancel the charge and I would be posting a review as well as something on my facebook page. They said they did their part in good faith and I should have given them special instruction. They have my mothers home phone number not a cell but a land line number. I assumed giving them that number was instruction enough… Call before you deliver. End result after making a fuss they sent someone to retrieve and redeliver the bouquet but still question how sanitary is that? Guess it is back to flowers.
