My first time there, my appointment was canceled and rescheduled for a family reason so i understood but the whole time i was there i was lectured about my nail biting habits and why I’m not married yet(23 btw) and when i chose a color out i was told it would look bad and they basically picked a color out for me. So i figured it was a weird experience and scheduled an appointment and 3 days before it was canceled again. I then rescheduled it and the person who i made the appointment with couldnt do it so someone else did it. The woman was in such a rush to finish, i didn’t get any attention to my cuticles and she told someone else to massage hands because she wanted her friend to give her a free hair cut. I’ve never felt so rushed and when youre paying for a service, you expect the full service, not thw short cut so you can get a free haircut. Anyways, I will not be going back this place.

Don’t book a 9am appointment if you go here. I had a 9 am facial here arrived at 855 and no one was there! Finally at 910 a front desk staff person arrived. At 920 my facial begins. It felt like shampoo was being slathered all over my face. I didn’t get the exfoliation treatment I requested — heck I don’t even know what I was getting — when I asked I got«facial» back. Pretty sure the women who gave this to me had never given a facial before. The worst part was I broke out like crazy immediately after. Never going back!

First of all, the place is clean and bright. I was optimist that this would be a good experience. I arrived on time for my appointment and the technician was 10 minutes late. She said how she was against the Groupon idea and it made me feel like I didn’t belong. She did a good job, however I got my Shellac manicure a week ago and its chipping left and right. I finally took it off, myself. I had asked her if the Groupon included removal and she said yes but I could also do it myself, like it would be an inconvenience if I came back. I’ve gotten other Shellacs and I know for a fact that they can last more than 1 week. Very disappointed. You would think this place would know how many other bazillion nail salons are around them and would present better customer service, especially to Groupon people because if the experience is pleasant they would have an additional client but frankly I will avoid this place and keep trying to find a better one, groupon or not.

When I arrived. No one was there. Sophia, the owner came later but she seemed very annoyed that I was there. The place is very sterile, white, cold. Sophia gave me a Ruff, hurtful microdermabraision. She was not gentile, did not explain anything she was doing and halfway through, left for about 20 min. I have had a lot of spa treatments and this was by far the worst.

I arrived early for my appointment. My nail technician arrived over 10 minutes late. I had another appointment across town that I given myself just enough time for(it’s my morning off) So I had to leave the nail appointment and reschedule. Very frustrating. Also the salon is white washed it looks clinical instead of relaxing/inviting. As a bonus they were playing obtrusive pop music at 9 am. Boo.

My mom and I made haircut appointments here at the same time thinking it would be fun to get our hair cut and colored at the same time. Well it turns out that one of the stylists called in sick. I feel like we should have been called and offered the chance to reshedule. Instead we show up and are informed that one stylist will be doing both of our hair. Ok whatever it might take a little more time that way but if she’s good it won’t matter that much. She starts me with a deep conditioning treatment and sets me under the dryer while she starts on my mom’s highlights. This takes way more time than it should at a little over an hour. The student washes out my conditioning treatment but I feel like she didn’t wash it all out. Then she puts me back under the dryer for a other 20 – 30 minutes. When the stylist finally gets to my hair she yanks though it with a comb and then figures out that she can’t rip my hair that way and combs a bit softer. She colors the bottom third of my hair but then stops and decides to wash it out! It was bleaching my hair not going 3 shades darker like I asked!!! She says she needs to redo it but use gel color this time. But in the meantime she checks my mom’s hair and decided it needed to be washed out now. This is when I say no way! I’m leaving. Get it together. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a salon!

I am a huge fan!!! I called early in the morning and received a return call to schedule an appointment 30minutes before they even opened. I booked an appointment with Jenna Berry for cut, root touch up and highlights. Jenna gave me bangs and highlights from the first time in my life and they looked great!!! I was happy with the entire visit. My mom is a very tough critic and she said it’s the best she’s ever seen my hair. That’s HUGE… trust me!!! Jenna was personable and attentive to my needs, felt like she had been a friend for years! Loking forward to my next appointment and maybe on the next visit I’ll get some extensions. Be sure to ask for Jenna, you won’t be disappointed! P. s. I’ll add some pictures soon. P. p. s. I thought the price was VERY reasonable for what I got.

I have been visiting Sophia and her team at Exquisite Salon and Spa every since it opened. I have had facials and massages all over the world including The Ritz and private resorts in Fiji, and I can honestly tell you this is better! They have first class service, Sophia has a gift when it comes to facials and waxing. The rest of her team have always been super courteous and professional. I highly recommend this spa for anyone looking for a reasonably priced salon/spa services. :)

Single worst waxing experience ever! Do not get the first appointment of the day(9AM) because no one will be there. Do not use Sofiya because she makes the pain worse, not better. They use terrible wax with NO aloe or anything after. Avoid!!!

Marty S, Thanks for replying, however you clearly missed the point. Also, we already got the FREE teeth whitening that we purchased with our plan.(although while we were being verbally insulted on the phone when I called, you told me nobody gets anything for free!). The main complaint was how rudely we were treated, as we were told that you were all«laughing at my daughter’» that she«could not read» the deal. I am certain there are some good things happening at your spa, however the customer service(or should I say complete lack there of) was utterly humiliating. You took a simple business problem and couldn’t solve it.

Overall just poor! Poor cleanliness, poor customer service, poor color choices. Very disappointing. :( This might seem a bit long but I couldn’t believe how disappointing it was… I received a gift certificate for my birthday from my husband for a massage, makeup application and Mani/pedi. I did the massage and the makeup application one day and the mani/pedi a couple weeks later. I had a bad first impression from the moment I called to set up the appointment. The man who answered had NO idea what gift certificate I was talking about and turns out he was the owner, we ended up getting it figured out and scheduled after explaining it several times and talking to someone else. I did my massage first which was a HUGE disappointment from the beginning… they were ½ behind and they did NOT change the sheets in between. When I crawled into the sheets they were all greasy and I could tell NOTHING was cleaned or changed, GROSS! The massage itself was ok and the lady was nice I guess but I couldn’t get passed the lack of cleanliness. After having that done I had the makeup application done. The girl that did it was VERY nice and she didn’t mind answering all my questions and giving me good tips and I loved ow the makeup turned out! This part was a pleasant surprise! After having these 2 things done I go to pay(use my gift card) and they tell me I owe money, which was a surprise because I was still due to have a mani/pedi on there. The owner came out and was still willing to give me the deal which was written on the gift certificate but not without telling me that I shouldn’t be getting all of the stuff and it was a «great» deal and someone screwed up! The part that frustrated me about this was shortly after that I received an email from the salon around mothers day offering the EXACT same deal. Seems like lack of knowledge from the front desk person as well as the owner. Ok, so after all of that I go back to use the mani/pedi part of my gift certificate a couple weeks later. Again, VERY disappointing. Walking through the salon was very dirty, the nail stations were dirty and just poorly presented. There was very poor color selections and the chairs for the mani part are uncomfortable. The woman who did my nails seemed very nice but was also, sorry to say, poorly presented. She had a dirty stained shirt on that just looked gross she had nasty coffee sitting at her station that had hair in it and just looked gross. She also seemed to be a bit strung out on something(maybe the coffee). After deciding on a color we started with the pedi. Everything went well until it came to removing my previous nail polish. She mentioned that it could have been cause I didn’t use a base coat(my bad) but I never do and have never had anyone complain about it before. Then she starts to paint my toenails and she is having a really hard time. She said she thought it was because the polish was old and she didn’t think we should use it on my nails, which I had intended on doing. Now going to the mani part… I think she spent so much time trying to get the polish to look good on my toes(which I did appreciate) that she ran out of time for my manicure. She was very flustard and rushed. She had an appointment in 15 minutes and was running extremely behind so she quickly got started. I decided on a french manicure since I couldn’t have my nails the same color as my toes… again with trouble removing my old nail polish. She asked me if I was ok with having some of the old polish left on there since she couldn’t get it off and I of course said NO and told her I would do it myself so I did with no problems. she did some very poor filing of my nails, pushed my cuticles back(pretty rough, I might add) and quickly did the french manicure. No buffing, massage NOTHING! She also proceeded to tell me that was called in last minute to accommodate me for making a same day appointment… tried not to sound like she was complaining about it but using it as an excuse for being«off her game». She was not rude in her tone or anything, but she just should NOT have told me some of the things she did… not professional. My manicure chipped the day after I got it and it just didn’t seem like a nice«spa» manicure.

Don’t bother wasting your time and money here. I scheduled an hour facial on a package gift certificate and found it curious my technician left the room 4 times during the facial, which I have never experienced anywhere! Come to find out after asking the front desk when checking out — she was also performing another service during mine! Instead of enjoying a relaxing hour of skin care, I was upset and tense sitting forgotten in the steam machine for most of the service time. I think the rest of my certificate will be a wash.

I used to be a regular here, but budgetary cutbacks made this the first luxury to go. They have a full service salon. I have had a great experience just about every time I have been there. Unfortunately, the original receptionist/manager is now onto other things in the spa and I sorely miss her customer service talents. Subsequent staff I have used many services here; except for one hair cut that took way to freakin long(1.5 hours); I don’t think I have had a bad experience here. Everyone is skilled and accepting of any criticism. I won’t allow anyone but Sofiya to do my facial & waxing, so I can only judge her skill and talent. She is wonderful. Relaxing voice and actions, warm and an amazing eye. She even teaches you inexpensive ways to get take care of your skin. I will return regularly one day.
