I once found a like-new Kate Spade handbag at a Goodwill in San Francisco for $ 8. This is not that Goodwill. Part of the reason I’m not a big fan is that I don’t like discount stores in general — they tend to be disorganized and crowded, and I can only take about 10 minutes of that. This Goodwill’s not the worst-organized thrift store I’ve seen, but it’s hard to find what you’re looking for. You’ll have better luck if you’re just in the mood to browse aimlessly(that way, it feels less like disorganization and more like a treasure hunt). The staff are pretty nice, but they can’t help much if you need help finding a specific item. They do have a decent selection of books and DVDs. Things I have seen at this Goodwill that I would never buy under any circumstances: used lice removal formula, a lightly used toilet seat, lots of grungy stuffed animals that you probably don’t want your kids to lick, and used men’s underwear.(WTF? I thought they didn’t accept used underwear!) If you can handle discount stores, I guess this one is as good as any, but it’s nothing special. Your mileage may vary. They do have great discounts for seniors on … Wednesdays, I think? Bring along a senior and save an extra 20% or so!

A little smaller than the Goodwills I’m used to, but a decent selection. Ended up with two new(well, used), beautiful skirts! I was surprised that I couldn’t find a restroom anywhere in the building. It was a long drive back home!

This place always has cool clothes and in good condition. I believe that this location is the best one in the city. I go at least 2 times per month.
