It’s Your Move

This is a fun game/​toy store. There is always something worth my while when I come in to browse. I can rarely leave empty-​handed. A quick list of the things I can find here: toys, jokes/​magic tricks, brain puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, board games, outdoor toys (things to toss, things to juggle), other odd novelties. But I mainly come in for the geek games! ;) And I love that the section of those games seems to be improving. Though I do give four stars because the store is too small and they don’t have a huge selection. Also, you’re not going to get any discounts here. But it’s worth it to me to pay a little extra to support this local business because of the knowledgeable staff. I love the excitement they show when I ask «Have you ever played this?» and they get to tell me all about their favorite games. Makes me want to play!
One of the main ways that I learn about new «geek» games (that is what I call things like: Munchkin, D&D, Zombie board games, Catan, etc — not the old-​school board/​card/​dice games, though I love those, too) is through the show «TableTop» — I want a store near me that always has all of those games in stock! If they don’t have it, they will order it for me, but I’m an impulse-​buy kinda gal. So load up the shelves, fellas! And maybe host game clubs for all ages to introduce new titles (my 11-​year-​old and his friends would enjoy that) — I wonder if the mall management will let you put a few tables in the hall for that once in a while.
Easy in and out of this mall store, too — Park near the upper level of Macy’s; then walk through it to the mall opening and It’s Your Move is there on the right.

This is one of those toy/​hobby/​novelty stores that you feel compelled to wander around for half an hour, then guiltily walk out of without buying anything. They offer a variety of board games, puzzles, magic tricks, RPG/D&D books/​guides, posters, cartoon key chains and tshirts, plus «must haves» like Dashboard Jesuses, rubber chickens, «pull my finger» pens and other quality items.
