King Soopers

Solid King Soopers experience! It’s on the fancier end of the Soopers’ Spectrum, and it’s fun to shop the fresh produce and tasty meats. People here were friendly and helpful, and the layout of the store was different, but pretty cool.

Larger store has everything, well almost everything you could need. Meats section was a weird layout and hard to find what you were looking for (chicken, beef, pork) because you couldn’t see anything until you were right next to the bin. Produce section could use better lighting. Its right up front but dimly lit. Staff was a bit surly on two of the four visits we made.

It’s very sad how badly this store has deteriorated in the past two years. When I moved to the area in 2013, this was my go-​to store despite another smaller store being closer. Over time, however, they’ve gotten worse and worse. Staple items that should always be in stock are frequently not. Things that were always there suddenly disappear — evidently permanently — and customer service has no clue. The deli counter is the worst, though; 4 or 5 people doing stuff while customers wait around trying to catch someone’s eye. The last straw was yesterday; I tried to get some fried chicken (3 PM on a Friday) and the guy says they’re all out of breasts but he «can put some down» but it’ll be 20 minutes or so. I don’t think so. I left everything and decamped to the next closest store, on Chatfield and Simms in Ken Caryl. What a difference! Clean, bright and EVERYTHING in stock… including the fried chicken.

Cindy in floral is a true asset. Knowledgeable, passionate, personable, and helpful. Was planning on going to a specialty flower shop or Whole Foods to pick out an arrangement for a meaningful event. I was near King Soopers so I just popped in for a peak. Immediately was acknowledged by Cindy was patient with me and seemed to actually care that I got what I wanted and didn’t settle. Could go on and on. She’s a keeper. Wouldn’t think of going anywhere else re: floral as long as Cindy is there.

We have been pretty satisfied with this company. Great customer service. Since we come here almost everyday for the last 3 ½ years The Staff know us, they May not know our names but know our faces.

I really like this King Soopers as it is a quick access off of 47 470 at Wadsworth. and it has a great hot selection bar for pre-​made items. It has a fantastic array of cheeses and the produce section always seems fresh and well organized. it’s a a great store without being too overwhelming in terms of its size & has a lot to offer.

This is a very well stocked store and they always have what I’m looking for. Their staff has always been very helpful and friendly. Produce us always fresh, and they have a nice variety of fresh choices.

I just moved to the area and this is the closest King Soopers.
Its a nice store. Clean, and modern.
But I had a hard time finding certain things because its a completely different store layout then the King Soopers in Conifer I was used to going to. I guess I will need to learn the new layout.
The one negative I have though is that I ordered a pound of turkey from the deli and the bottom slice had a ton of seeds and other things on it like they did not clean the slicer before slicing my turkey. Hopefully just a one time occurance, but only time will tell.

Considering this grocery store is literally within walking distance, I can’t complain! It’s always clean, bright and friendly and well stocked. I also plan my visits so that I’m there when it’s slow, which if you’re there on a holiday weekend, try to avoid that rush! The store always has what I need unless it’s a specialy item and I also like the coupons I receive in the mail.

Great grocery store. Nice inside and good specials. Plan your visits to beat the rush.

This store is so lovely since they remodeled it. It’s really bright and clean. Almost every worker I have encountered there has been friendly and helpful.
