I am slightly confused about the reviews listed. We were created and seated promptly, we were told the specials right away hence my happy dollar Corona dance. We ordered the Carne Asada fries appetizer may I say delicious. For the entrée we shared the fajitas and they were so good. I was really pleased with both the food and service. I am now a fan and will be back for sure.

We were excited because this seemed like a hole-in-the-wall kind of place right around the corner. We should have known something was up when we walked in and realized every customer was white. The food had no flavor whatsoever. I mean the«Spanish rice» had carrots and peas in it… I’m rolling my eyes just thinking about it. There was green chile sauce on the side that I had some hope for, it had some heat but again, no flavor. Won’t be coming here again.

Incredibly bitchy lady works here. I walked in and there was no one there, for over five minutes. So I yelled«hello» over the very loud music and she came out of the back with a death stare that almost made me walk out. She then told me that I could only have a sausage burrito because it’s Friday, what? I then walked out, hungry.

I’m only giving two stars cause the corona was $ 1! First, the food, not good… but the chips and salsa was. I’d have to say, let’s get a health inspection ASAP! Watched the girls play on their phones rather than tend to the customers… there was only two of them… and about 14 – 16 people in the place… watched one man leave his table and come to the bar to order his food. one of the girls was constantly picking at the corner of her eyes… never once saw her wash her hands… and they we’re both on their cells… which is the dirtiest thing on the planet! look it up! It makes me sad to leave bad reviews, but if it’s this bad… it needs to be done. If they act like this in front of customers… I’d hate to see what’s going on in the kitchen! I’m adding a photo for proof.

This place is a hit or miss kind of restaurant. I would try to stick with specialty dishes and stay away from combination platters. Their Carne Adobada is fantastic! The Super Nachos are tasty and you get a large portion. They also do $ 1 Coronas and cheap margs. On the downside… –the beans can be really weird/bad –they don’t seem to follow their posted hours and are closed at random times

I’d love to post a review but they’re closed. I couldn’t find anything online, on their website, and their phone just rang without any voicemail. Their winter hours are M-Th, 7a-8p, F-Sat, 7a-9p, closed Tgiving, Black Friday, &12/24, 12/25, 12⁄26. My advice — if you go here, better have a back up plan.

Food sucks, service sucks, drinks suck. Not even worth the time writing this review. Save your money and go to chubbies or Santiagos you’ll get better food and service. Morning after leaves your stomach turning.

This establishment I hands down amazing! The food and service are both fantastic and the prices are great too. We are never disappointed with our experience here.

We went there during the fourth of July(2015) festivities and that’s why they get five stars. The margaritas were good and the food was ok not great. But for a very busy time they did great! The service kept up and we were in and out in a great time.

Not one to give bad reveiws and maybe it was just a off night for them, but my boyfriend and I ordered Togo food from here. First, our order was wrong when we got home, but we were so hungry we ate it anyway. We ordered Carne Asada, but we were not sure what we actually ate. We both ended up sick as a dog from the mystery meat we received!!! The server who helped us also didn’t seem very interested in helping us on Togo food. Sad part is we always tip 30% or more even on togo. We probally won’t be eating there again anytime soon!

Have driven by several times and it looked like a nice small family run Mexican restaurant. So, finally tried it tonight. Pretty disappointed. Walked in and there was tape closing off many booths. Walls were pretty bare. Are they re-decorating or refurbishing? The chicharrones appetizer was great. Hot, crispy. Our food was pretty good too, but luke warm. Really? The Patron shots seemed to be a bargain at $ 4. But the wait staff seemed like zombies, not interested, almost rude. Got the check, the shots were $ 5. We asked, were told we were wrong. Hmm, they were pretty busy texting on their phones when we left… DEFINITELYWON’T GOBACK and would never refer them to anyone else. GET A CLUE or GOOUTOFBUSINESS.

You will not find any higher quality Mexican food in the Denver metropolitan area. The portions are large, the staff friendly and the food is great. This is my favorite restaurant in Denver. The Pork Carnitas with green chili sauce is my favorite. Never ate anything I did not like.

By far this is one of our favorite hole in the wall Mexican food places. It’s very reasonably priced and you can get Corona for $ 1– can’t beat that! This is your classic fast-casual Mexican comfort food place where the beans have lard(which is why they are so amazing) and the food is greasy. You don’t come here for«healthy» Mexican food… You come here for a legit chimichanga or flauta(try the chicken flauta plate, it’s great). Beware, if you try calling for takeout, you may get frustrated because they can be pretty terrible about answering the phone. Other than that, grab yourself a Corona, some delicious chips and salsa, and enjoy this little gem.

I am not impressed with this spot. I really want to like it as it is walking distance from my house and so convienent, but the food is really lacking. I have only eaten here a few times, but I usually judge a mexican resturant by their chile rellenos, and they were terrible. It tasted like a canned chili with a wonton wrapper. Their breakfast burritos are alright, but even the mild is very spicy and not nearly as good as Santiagos. Unfortuantely I will be getting mexican food somewhere else.

I’ve been here four times and have always left happy. It was somewhat concerning that they don’t offer a milder version of the salsa because it was quite spicy but it was delicious none the less. The carnitas were tender and flavorful. All if the appetizers I tried were excellent. My one complaint would be the rice and refried beans they serve with most entrees are both completely bland on their own. That being said, this place has it’s charms and some delicious food so we will surely return again.

I can’t say that I’ve tried much on their menu to give a fair review. I really like the drive through window for pick-ups. I ordered breakfast burritos. It’s alright, not as good as Santiago’s. And it’s $ 2.50(50 cent more than Santiago’s). I would rather drive a mile to Santiago’s. But I haven’t tried anything else so I know this is not too fair of a review.

I grew up going to this place weekly with my dad, so maybe it’s in large part nostalgia, but I’ve always really enjoyed their mexican food. I’ve taken several friends here as well and people have very varying opinions. I have friends who just abhorred the food(although I honestly don’t understand why), and then many other friends who loved it as much as I do. It’s the best mexican I’ve had in the Littleton/englewood area.

I currently have a busted ankle and cannot drive, so I thought I’d be lazy and call for delivery and support a small local business near my house. Called 6(SIX!) times in a row and each time whoever was working the phone picked up the phone and hung up. You could even hear activity in the background for a split second. I’m no business owner, but I have worked in the food service industry and it takes five seconds to ask someone to «please hold.» Obviously Mi Cocina isn’t too worried about business, or they wouldn’t be purposely hanging up on potential customers six times in a row. I’ve already heard bad enough reviews about this place, and thought I’d give them a shot. Looks like the reviews are true, and they will NOT be getting my business.

This place is just disgusting with a staff that is completely brain dead. They advertised delivery, so that is what we did. We live just straight down Windermere. Only 1 turn. Not only did they have to call for directions(which is fine) but they called 4 times because they were lost. Really?!? By the time the food got to us it was completely cold. I called to let them know and they did nothing but basically say, «Oh well.» After we had to reheat the food, there was NO flavor but salt. The chips were nasty greasy. Honestly, I just don’t get the 4 and 5 stars from this place. Everyone I have talked to since has said how awful this dive is. Seriously, if you are going to waste your money here, just hit taco bell and donate the money you save to a soup kitchen.

I absolutely love their $ 2.00 breakfast burritos. I always try to stop in if I am in the area to scarf down on their amazing tortilla hugged delights. Their dinner combination plates are quite good as well. My girlfriend had the Chili Rellano Plate and I had the Tamale plate smothered in green chili. Both of us joined the«Clean-Plate-Club» as it was so good. I really enjoyed the sopapillas. Fluffy, large and sweet with honey and butter. The best way to finish off a Mexican dinner. The atmosphere is not high class, so hoodies and t-shirt attire is perfect. My girlfriend and I usually stop here after putt putting at Colorado Journey Miniature Golf Course. A local favorite for sure. I am really excited to go back after just purchasing a coupon from — yeah!
