I’ve made a number of new equipment purchases here in the last few years, ranging from a simple pair of gloves to a complete set of skis with boots and poles. I’ve also brought my bike in for service and stopped in a time or two with friends that were inquiring about potential equipment purchases. Every time I have received excellent service, whether from Paul, Matt, or Brandon. They are happy to give honest answers, no matter how big or small a decision you are making. You can tell they genuinely want to get you into the product that best suits you. They don’t pressure you and will suggest ways to save money, even if it means not making a sale. One such case was when I brought my bike in, believing it needed a new shifter. Brandon looked up the appropriate part and told me how much a new shifter would cost. However, even though I indicated that the existing shifter had already been cleaned, adjusted, and lubed, Brandon figured he’d try lubing it with a specific product he likes to use. Well, the shifter started working flawlessly, saving me not only the money for a new shifter but the associated downtime of the order and install. Brandon also shared the name of the lubricant in case I wanted to get some for myself.

I will first confess to knowing very little about ski and ski equipment, so this review has nothing to do with quality of equipment or actual knowledge of the owner and staff. the full one star goes toward service and attitude: If you as a customer are happy with condescending treatment this is the place to go. My dealings were with the owner on a couple of occasions and one his staff when returning the skis I have rented. I found the owner to be patronizing and conceited and extremely not customer service oriented. Practically very unpleasant! Upon returning the skis, I experienced the very same ever-right all-knowing attitude from the young guy who worked the desk when I came in.

Selection of equipment is ok. Took advantage of a late season ski sale. Prices ok but staff lacks good customer service skills and more importantly, their return policy sucks. Store credit or merchandise exchange only.
