Everything I remember getting at 7 – 11 as a kid is here. Awesome and so nostalgic at the same time. Also a ton of gag treats like candy with bugs in it and such.

Brought us back to the good old days. Every candy you ever had as a kid LOVED it. Thanks for the memories and will be back.

I am a sucker for bottled sodas, especially bottled root beers. This place was a great find as they have hundreds of bottled sodas made of cane sugar rather than corn syrup. They have tons of candy and other vintage items. Staff was very friendly as well.

I’ve never been to a place like this before. I was in candy/soda heaven! All the walls were perfectly decorated and everything looked so great. The employees were extremely nice. They helped us pick the perfect selection and were ready to check us out as needed. I would definitely recommend coming to this wonderful candy shop. Your kids… Heck, even the whole family will love it!

I went to New Zealand earlier this year and fell in love with Bundaberg Ginger Beer(Australian). It’s sporadically available in the US, and I went to their website to look for a retailer. I tried one other store, who told me that it wouldn’t be in stock until another 6 – 8 weeks. Then I called Rocket Fizz(I had no idea they had a Highlands Ranch location). It’s on University, but for some reason I thought it was the one in Denver. I digress. I walked in, impressed with how clean everything was. I don’t think it can be easy keeping a candy store clean, so I’m going to give the benefit of the doubt and say that they work hard to keep everything in order. They have much more than candy(hence, the ginger beer). I wouldn’t be surprised if they had 30+ brands of root beer(sadly, no Henry Weinhard Root Beer). It took me a while to look for it because they had so many types of sodas. Anyways, great service, clean, and quite a neat little shop. You will find hard-to-find sweets(does anyone remember Warheads?). I’m so glad there is one near me! They also have a frequent customer card(that’s dangerous).

We stopped into Rocket Fizz on the day my daughter had her braces removed. She had been hankering for gummy bears, taffy, sour patch kids, and gum for over a year and there was no denying it any longer. Rocket Fizz is conveniently located in a very popular King Soopers shopping center, right down the row of stores from my eye doc and cleaners. That’s how we saw the giant barrel of root beer outside and the entire store full of sugar. For our purposes, they fit the bill. Gummy bears? Check, and how about a giant blue gummy bear? Yes, please! Salt water taffy? How many flavors can you fit in that low priced bag?(About 20.) Laffy Taffy, Gold Nugget Gum, and more sour chewie things than we could decide on. Thanks to Rocket Fizz, I had a very happy, very sugary little girl! They do also offer a wide variety of sodas around the entire wall of the store. And a bunch of cute kitschy signs, candies, and nostalgia. Should I ever need a funny sign for a friend’s birthday, I know now where to go.

This was my first time at a Rocket Fizz and it was a pretty neat place to visit and explore. Their selection is very unique and interesting. They have a nice selection of salt water taffy that you can mix and match, but unfortunately their selection of other candies that you can fill a bag and be creative with is very boring and takes the fun out of the mixing and matching of candies like I used to at the fun candy shops as a kid. I got a nice bottle of diet Dad’s Root Beer(not cold though sadly) and liked that but thought there were too many Jones’ Sodas and they could have used some of the Stewart’s Sodas instead. A fun, neat adventure for families and people looking for a little nostalgia.
