Staff not friendly at all. As someone who worked for Safeway (as a secret shopper) I know what they’re expected to do. No smiles, hellos, or assistance. Walked around aimlessly looking for eggs, which were in the way back in a corner… Employee chatting with a friend for at least 30 minutes. Throughout this time, I pass by multiple times, very obviously confused and lost. No offer to help, no acknowledgment. I will say the cashier that rang me up was pretty friendly. All other staff members I encountered, not so much…
