Servpro of Denver East

I would not recommend this office. They were quick to respond and drop off their water mitigation equipment, but everything went south besides that. User beware they claim ²⁴⁄₇ service but that is for emergencies only. Once they hook you by dropping of their equipment it becomes a waiting game to get them to return to complete the job. Since they had such a delay to complete the job I was forced to get another company Abbotts. When I told them that I had found another company who would be able to come the next day «tony» the onsite tec became defensive and incredibly rude and threatened me «that I better not damage his equipment.»
Overall not a great experience and safe to say my last Servpro experience. I asked Eric the manager to call me back to discuss and he never did.

Terrible customer service. We called with a NON-​EMERGENT situation and reiterated that we wanted someone to take a look at some minor water damage so we knew how to move forward. The rep was able to accommodate quickly and was scheduling someone to be out between 6 and 8 in the evening (again, we told them this was not an emergency, there was no on-​going damage, and what did leak was minor), when confirming the service call I was informed of their company policy to charge $ 260 for an after hours call. I told her I’d like to reschedule during normal hours, in which case the charge would still be $ 185. They justified the charge by assuring me that «insurance will cover it» (even though we weren’t even sure we would be filing a claim because the damage was minimal).
Turns out we found a different company (for those interested: Belfor) who scheduled us a time that worked well, called to confirm, called again the day of to let us know their precise ETA, were incredibly professional and kind, explained what they were seeing and let us know what it would take to fix the problem.
I can’t speak on the quality of service Servpro provides because we did not use them, but after dealing with their customer service (and a follow-​up call on an email complaint) it is clear that they don’t want to listen, but just hear themselves talk. The practices are less than ethical, charging high fees simply because insurance will cover it, and this is what contributes to insurance companies charging the home owners more and more, to cover the outrageous practices of corrupt companies such as this, who, for what took another company about 10 minutes, were quick to charge, which was again justified by the customer service rep as «covering overhead, putting gas in the trucks, paying their employees.» etc. The company we are using also has overhead, employees, trucks to gas and the like, but they make their living by providing stellar customer service and will be referred to friends and family because of how they handled our situation, as small as it may have been.

I wouldn’t recommend even my worst enemy to ServPro.
We had a flood in our condo while we were on vacation and ServPro was hired to remove and store our furniture during the 2 months of construction that took place in our home. We were not able to live at our place and upon our return, we discovered ServPro had piled a bunch of our belongings in our big bathtub on top of a moving blanket that was covering the faucets. An acoustic guitar, electric guitar, banjo, bookshelves, a poker set, and a mirror. They also put our microwave in the shower. Because so much was piled in the bathtub, the faucet must have turned on and filled the bathtub with water while we were gone. Everything in the bathtub was moldy and ruined. We notified Brad Greicar at ServPro immediately, he came out the next day to review the damage and assured me the issue would be taken care of although he wanted to talk to the other contractors. I explained the guitars never should have been stored in the bathtub and he had nothing to say. At this point, he seemed empathetic. A few days went buy and ServPro agreed to come out a second time to clean the bathtub but we were eventually informed by Erik Nielsen that ServPro was taking no responsibility for the incident. I couldn’t believe it. This company was hired to safely store our belongings and failed to deliver. The value of these items exceeds $ 2k alone in addition to the $ 20-​$ 30k insurance claim from the flood.
A few weeks later, ServPro came to deliver the rest of our belongings and I also had a cleaner from the construction company cleaning up while they were there. I was in the hallway making a phone call when the cleaning lady came out to inform me one of the movers broke a chair. I went in and examined the chairs that had all been placed where they belong at the bar. I pointed out the damage to one of the movers and they acted like they had no idea. I then went to the back hallway to take care of a few more emails, overheard one of the movers let the manager know a chair was broken and her response was, «Did she see it?» I am 100% sure they would not have brought this broken chair to my attention although I notified Erik Neilson (manager at ServPro) and his response was: «The assumption on your part that they would have never said anything, is exactly that, just an assumption.»
I am beyond disgusted by ServPro’s lack of honesty, integrity, and ownership and it has taken me over 2 months to even write this review because I’m so disappointed.

We have had a horrible experience. Our basement flooded. Initially, they were very empathetic and sent a crew right out. They told us their goal was to dry everything out in 2 days. After 2 days, absolutely nothing was done and the management and crew were completely unreachable. No updates, no apologies, no nothing. Meanwhile everything continued to sit in water getting ruined and the walls are soaking up water. NEVER choose this company. Despite their website boasting prompt service, nothing could be further from the truth. It’s completely unacceptable.

I wish there was any info on restoring clothing after smoke damage but there wasn’t when we had a fire. so here goes–
Servpro was there in an instant and immediately hooked up with anyone who would listen and take their coffee and donuts– they seemed very professional and we paid them 10k to restore our clothing– it was worth a heck of a lot more so we figured great! They went to the home and picked everything up and delivered it to us in about a month-​that part was awesome! while we cant really tell what came back and what didnt (there were tons and tons of clothes/​coats/​boots/​gear), most looked really good and we were thrilled– however, a year later, as we wear all our items, the best way to describe it is, EVERY item of clothing seems like it was washed a hundred times on high heat and spin! Tiny holes in ALL the garments and i can wear each piece about ONCE before they literally fall apart .
It may not even be the company so I feel bad to give 1 star if so, but more, the actual service of removing soot and smoke from clothing– i suspect it is a LOSING PROPOSITION and wish Id have known this as i would have just gone out and done with less but bought new clothing. I do NOT recommend restoring clothes, no matter how attached you may be to any of it :(…

Terrible! These people were hired to clean up after a fire at my property. When they were finished «cleaning» there was still black soot all over the walls. I would not call that cleaning. I would recommend you steer clear of them. It seems to me that they know exactly how much they can get your insurance company to pay, then they charge that much and do the absolute minimum. I found it difficult to believe how bad they did, frankly. I figured they were the experts at this type of thing, but I was wrong. I had to go through the home and clean it myself after they had finished. I would recommend you hire someone else.
