Have been seeing Dr. Strum for years and my care has been excellent. He is prompt, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and a delightful conversationalist. I am always able to see him or someone in the office in an emergency. My latest visit even uncovered a potential cholesterol issue that he offered to discuss with my pcp. Honestly could not conceive of seeing another optometrist in the Denver metro area.

I love Dr. Strum and asociates. Our family and extended family has been well cared for by this practice. They are a small practice, but have great expertise. I recently went in to order contacts for my daughter and they insisted I get in the exam chair right then and there so they could check an inflamation I had in my eye that I was ignoring. My family will always be patients of this practice!

I was a patient of Dr. Strum’s and found him to be a good optometrist. I understood him to be the only doctor in the office. I called the office, told them I was a patient of Dr. Strum’s, and set an appointment. On my appointment day, I was examined by a woman who did not introduce herself by name, nor did she indicate if she was a doctor. I thought she was an assistant and that the doctor would come in at some point. At the end of my appointment, I found out that the office had scheduled me with another doctor without my permission for even informing me, and that this was a common practice. A relationship between a doctor and a patient is specific to that doctor, and shouldn’t be passed off like that. I found it rude and disrespectful of me as a patient. Further, both my glasses and contacts prescriptions were written incorrectly(different mistakes) and had to be rewritten. The replacement doctor was otherwise adequate, but that’s not the point. I plan to find another optometrist who values and respects his or her patients.
