Summit Skylights is a fraud. The owner/“installer”, Tate Schlosser, appears to be an at-home dad who tries to get some work in on the side around his kids’ schedules. In our case, he never succeeded. We put money down and scheduled the work to be done. Week after week, he kept standing us up and cancelling appointments due to his kids. After 4 failures to show up, when we had rearranged our schedules and blocked out our entire day to have the work done, we told him we could no longer work with him and we demanded a refund for the 50% that we had already paid. He told us he would put a check in the mail. That was almost 2 weeks ago and we have received nothing. We have called multiple times and he is avoiding us. At one point he told us he would bring the check to us at a designated time, but didn’t show up. He is now saying that he credited our credit card, but the transaction is not showing up. We may be headed towards legal action very soon. Tate Schlosser is a dishonest cop out who can’t be trusted to do the work or issue your refund.

Tate Schlosser did an excellent job installing a large skylight that required electrical re configuration. Also he installed solar tubes in a windowless bathroom. All work was completed professionally and the work area was cleaned up very nicely. Also very important is that we have not experienced any leakage!
