The Ice Ranch

I though they had very bad service and don’t bother calling the ice ranch because they won’t pick up. I will never be going there ever again.

I go here fairly often to watch my manly BF play some hockey!
There are two rinks when you walk in the door. One of the left and one on the right. If you are watching a game on the left side, CONGRATULATIONS! You got the good side. You can enjoy a beer and food from a bar overlooking the rink and you won’t freeze your ba… extremities off.
If you have to watch a game on the right side: HA HA. You are going to freeze. To death.
I haven’t tried any food here but would love to! Great beer, great prices, nice clean rink. They could use some heaters above the poor souls shivering in the stands.

There are better options for youth hockey. Shop around.

My daughter did hockey here and we loved that we could get dinner after and watch more hockey! Plus they have a play it again sports in there which I convenient. My husband has played hockey there and doesn’t like the ice, so it’s not his favorite. They also recently opened up a Starbucks which is worth a star ;)

One of the better facilities in all of my experience. Bathroom/​shower are especially above par. 6 maybe 8 showers? Unheard of!!!
Ice is pretty quality and they have tons of drop in and stick times on both rinks. Love it!

Notes: A sheet and ²⁄₃ of Ice with rstaraunt and very small pro shop. Great view of the ice surfaces from above inside or in the rinks on bleachers.
I don’t play in their Adult league — I think they are renting their Ice to RHML maybe. The drop in is supposed to be consist ant on certain times but I do not go much. The Ice is very nice as is the facility.
Curling anyone? They have a curling league.
This is an Adult review only. They used to run adult skills classes that were pretty good for intermediate skaters.

Wowee wow… I love the ice ranch for these reasons:
1 — Taxidermy in the restaurant
2 — Legit Philly Cheese Steaks wit
3 — One rink painted for curling
4 — Smooth and lovely ice
5 — Placed in a tournament there
6 — Tournament fees included free beer and pizza
7 — Locker rooms not too disgusting (a la Big Bear)
7 — Minus one star because it’s far from me :-(
