The restaurant has great wings and burgers. They play music loud, but we like it! There are multiple TV’s for watching sports, and it’s in the neighborhood. Service has been great the 3 times we have been there. I believe happy hour is 3−6pm. Our waiter still let us get a deal at 6:05, haha! We will be hanging out here, and we can walk to it, yay!

We go out for Friday night bar food/​happy hour every week. We we very impressed with Waterton. My friend had a burger that rated in his top 10 of all times. My reuben sandwich was outstanding. If only they had more craft beer selections. Service was excellent.

We had a great time watching the Bronco game here. The waitress was attentive, and our waters never went dry. I had the caprice wrap and they were happy to add turkey. It was excellent. Everyone was happy with the food and service. I would have given it a 5 if it had a better atmosphere. It is a little dark, and only had 3 bathrooms. A kid took up one for 20 minutes and walked out carrying his iPad!

The place looks like a pit. It looked like the place was vacant when we approached it. Not very clean. Wonder what the kitchen looks like? My group decided to eat somewhere else. If you’re in Rox try JB Bistro or there’s a really nice restaurant wine bar the food is good tasting. One of my business associates said it’s probably not well managed if it looks like this I would have to agree. Update Went my back recently still looks like a pit. I guess according to the reviews the food is decent but it looks like they never clean the place so I decided to move probably won’t waste my time there anymore. I can’t imagine what the kitchen looks like.

Straight but pub grub. It seems to be a pub first and then it just happens to serve food. The food is decent but not anything remotely unique nor amazing in any sense of the word. We had their breakfast on a Saturday morning which was very welcomed after our 4 mile hike in Roxborough Park. Again nothing special but it went down well. On as side note, I’m never a fan of a place that has no host or instruction on what to where to enter their establishment. A sign would at very least be nice. We also had to bus our own table.

We go here at least once a month. The food is great, especially the burgers. My kids love the chicken fingers. The only drawback is that the service can be a little on the slow side, but everyone is so nice that we can’t hold that against them.

I’ve given this place a few chances, as there are limited options living near Roxborough Park. Even after the renovation, the place is still unwelcoming. The floor is sticky, the service is slow, they left the door open when it was freezing outside and the food was not good. Since there are limited options in the area, I suppose this place will do for some drinks, but not impressed overall.

This restaurant expanded into the neighboring space and addressed the noise issue. It’s a great place for families during normal hours and a great place to let loose after the sun sets. My favorite.

Just ate here for the first time, food was very good and service was great. It is casual bar food but was one of the better burgers that I have had. Beer was cold and delivered promptly. Atmosphere was good for family as well. Some construction with an expansion but not obtrusive. Will definitely put this place on the list for future visits.

Of course I’m biased, but «I love this bar!» Great staff, new padded chairs, diverse menu, good beer selection and libations — and an expansion is in the works!
If you’re from the neighborhood and haven’t been in awhile, you need to come in and check it out again. Be sure to stop in if you venture out to Chatfield Reservoir, Waterton Canyon, Arrowhead Golf Course or Roxborough State Park.
Oh, and the guy that does trivia on Tuesday nights… TOPS! ;-)

I think this place is new and it’s nice to have another lunch option in this part of town.
We arrived around 11:30 and it was not busy at all. In fact there doors are so poorly marked we almost didn’t go in and we saw other guests have similar issues.
Our server was very friendly and shared her faves with us.
I went with the buffalo chicken wrap with grilled chicken and a big side of fries. It was tasty and so filling, I didn’t eat anything for the rest of the day.
Decent pricing too.

The Waterton Tavern is a great place to grab a meal after a bike ride or hike in Waterton Canyon or Roxborough State Park. The tavern has the look of a brew pub chain restaurant, but is actually a one of a kind locally owned & operated establishment that serves up cold drinks and really good food.
Unless you happen to live in Roxborough or work at Lockheed Martin I would guess you might not know about this great little eatery. They have friendly wait staff and plenty of HDTVs to keep you entertained while you enjoy the tasty grub. On my last visit I found out they also serve breakfast. Check out the complete menu at
