Food is always hot, people are friendly, and my order is correct and delivered out fast every time. I go to this location at least once a week when I don’t feel like cooking!

Went here again last week and same issue as last time… my food was cold. I love Whataburger, but I will not come to this location again. This is the second time, and the last time that I will eat cold food.

My husband and I visited this store for lunch today. The service was phenomenal and the facilities were very clean. Friendly employees and great food.

How difficult is it to take an order from the drive thru? She asked for our order then all the employees in the vicinity of the mic started joking around and laughing. She forgot our order instantly. Needless to say we made a U-turn and left. What a waste of time.

I’ve been here several times, mostly drive thru, mainly after drinks. Can’t beat a great double bacon cheese with mustard burger on a toasted buttery bun. In n Out = 200% HYPE.

22 minutes in the drive thru? I hope that’s not the norm on a slow night. Even if we got a, «sorry for the long wait» would have been appreciated.

I have a couple of the caloric blackholes otherwise known as teenagers — we go to Whataburger *a lot*.(That’s kinda the great thing about teenagers though — they’re perfect excuse to justify my own burger addiction :)) We end up at this particular WB most often — it’s just the most convenient to our daily(well… nightly is more like it, in my world) travels — but each time we do, I leave wishing I had just sucked up the threat of bored Universal City cops and headed to the P. Book location instead. This one is generally dirty — sticky floors, trash/food scraps on and under the tables, etc — and the overnight manager Margo, who usually takes our order, is more often than not grumpy and unpleasant. The 2ish a.m. timeframe, and no doubt an evening of dealing with post-bar bro crowd on their part, garners a lot of slack in my book.. But not *that* much. Generally we haven’t had much of any issue with food quality — standard Whataburger goodness — but tonight is the second night in a row we’ve run in for to-go burgers, and arrived home to find poorly-put-together mehness. Whataburger, in general, is great. But there are definitely better location options than this one.

Like this location better than the Universal City restaurant. The burgers are cooked right and you see them cook the fried items when you are near the cash register. Staff is friendly and helpful. Always go inside to order and have never had issues with getting food in a reasonable amount of time.

Nice staff. But the restaurant is filthy. Food all over the floors and quite a few dirty tables with crumbs and trash. Either way, food is always good.

I saw this location randomly on my way home after class, and decided to stop in. I ordered and was waiting in line when I decided to check into Unilocal. When I read the other reviews, I immediately wanted to turn in run. What had I gotten myself into? I thought Whataburger was almost universally a safe haven for a decent burger and delicious fries, but every other Unilocaler suggested I was wrong… way wrong. I rolled up to the window, and received the quickest service I have ever witnessed from a Whataburger.(Patience is a necessity for this delicious of a burger). After pulling away, I was almost nervous to reach my hand in the bag and try one of their famous fries. Luckily for me, I braved it anyway, and I enjoyed every savory bite. Maybe I got lucky, and everyone else for some reason got the D-list crew… but my service and food were PERFECT. As a matter of fact, those were the best Whataburger fries I’ve ever had, and that is saying a lot from a native Texan. They were perfectly cooked– crispy and golden, not a one was soggy, and the amount of salt was precise. I highly recommend this location… regardless of what others before me have said.

TMI Alert! It’s a family tradition to stop at this Whataburger location on the way to and from Laredo… to use their restrooms. If you have to spend time in a strange rest room, isn’t it better to spend time in one that smells like french fries vs poo? I think so. This last visit, however, the bath room was a little gross and needed a bit of cleaning. We came here around midnight this time around. The night shift seemed to be run by kids. They weren’t all that professional, but they got the job done. A couple of the boys were reluctant to help us, but we got taken care of when the 3rd girl showed up. One final thought, Whataburger needs to up the difficulty of the puzzles on the kid’s meal bags. Drawing 7 hamburgers, coloring one of them black, and asking to find the different one, is, well, its simply a test to see if you can read. :p

Over 15 minutes spent in line at the drive-thru and they messed up my order. Next time I am in the area seeking fast food, I’ll find another option.

My friend took me here as the fams are frequent visitors to Whataburger. I ordered the combo, which came with the burger, fries or onion rings and a drink. Service was really friendly, and they even bring out a tray with condiments to your table.(We don’t have this in SD.) The burger was«wet». I’m not sure if it was moist from the grease or from the chopped lettuce from when it was washed. Needless to say, my burger was all over the place. The patty was pretty small/flat. I actually finished the burger faster than my friend! That tells a lot since I usually order kid’s meals. The onion rings saved the day. I tried both the OR and FF. The OR won me over. FF were kind of limpy. The drink cup was pretty big for a standard sized drink. I was happy that they offer diet dr. pepper. MMMMM!!! There is a CJ’s(Carl’s Jr.) that apparently opened next door. I’m a big fan of CJ’s burger. Perhaps trying a W burger vs. a CJ’s burger and see for yourself which fares over the other.

This has got to be the WORST location. Food was cold and took forever in the drive through… at least 25 minutes. If you are in the area, do yourself the favor and keep driving.
