Thank goodness for 2 the Point! Coming from the midwest where there seems to be a needlepoint shop on every corner and having a sister who designs and paints needlepoint canvasses, I was worried that my only option for needlepoint supplies and finish work would have to be San Francisco. Although driving from Walnut Creek to Pleasanton isn’t exactly convenient, it beats the heck out of driving into San Francisco! All of the people in the store have always been very friendly and helpful. I took in a canvas to be made into a pillow. It turned out just as I had hoped and will be returning tomorrow to take another one in for them to finish. On one of my projects I ran out of yarn and they helped me find the color that I needed. They are truly a lifeline for the eastbay needlepoint community!

There was a class of 5 women stitching some beautiful work and Saturday afternoon chatting.
Beginner classes offered quarterly. Next beginners class begins in December 2012.
