Agreed with the review from Fred W. 3D was assigned to us by the Home Depot. The owner Jim is very rude to the customers. He and his crew complained all the time that he had too many projects and that theycould not handle them all. Why is Home Depot giving them so much work? They have delayed our kitchen remodel over 6 weeks, only show up to work once or twice a week, their scheduling person Mary never knows when they will show up next and now the refrigerator they installed leaked and ruined our brand new floors! You would think after all of this they would be willing to replace them right away, but 8 days later there is no commitment yet. Do not use them, take your money elsewhere. save yourself a headache and find a company that values their customers. So sad to see a local business do all of this!

They’ve secured the Home Depot installer contract, so they only care about not losing that money train: not customer service. I was working a very complex remodel of several apartments including a whole building replacement of the knob & tube electrical, repiping all the plumbing and strip-to-studs of three bathrooms, two kitchens & several other rooms. I had my hands full of sub-contractors and thought I could hand off the relatively simple installation of cabinets. For the price I was quoted, I expected turnkey, i.e. «These are the cabinets I want, please tell me when you are going to install them.» Just like all the other subs on the job. What I got was a lot of pointless administrative tasks, delays, near-total lack of communication or miscommunication, more delays, being told that I have to coordinate ordering, shipment, receiving, everything. yet more delays, and a general attitude of indifferent incompetence from 3D. A couple of tip offs that this is not a company you want to have anything to do with: They’re not listed in the better business bureau. Their website is a waking nightmare where that try to hide their California state license number. Avoid.

The best. We bought a fixer upper and wanted to gut it. After interviewing and getting quotes from 6 contractors, we went with 3D, whose price was in the middle of everyone and was one of the most clear and helpful when we were looking into everyone. Also, they had done our friend’s home a few years back and did a great job. 3D did all our remodeling except for the painting and floors, which we found cheaper elsewhere. However, I wish we had saved ourselves the trouble and just had them do everything. Pros: –professional(does what they say, and will go out of their way to make you happy) –easy/quick communication via phone and email with the office ladies, Jim, the owner, Kurt, our foreman, and all the workers –trustworthy(they worked in the home even with our young kids in the house at times and we felt very comfortable) –CLEAN. SOSOCLEAN(their level of cleanliness is ridiculous. didn’t realize this wasn’t standard until i had other companies come in to paint and do the floors. other people left trash and dust everywhere and walked all over with no shoe covers. ugh. 3D, in comparison, always put down fabric in areas they walked, wore shoe covers, swept, vacuumed after each work day, stacked materials up neatly, took out their trash regularly, and even cleaned their tools daily so they were not bringing in dust or grease into the house.) –our foreman, Kurt Taylor. Awesome guy. Knows how to do/fix anything/everything. Honest. Professional. The man. –great work. They really did such a good job. –stands by their work.(there is a leaky bathroom faucet and they are coming back to tighten it for us) If you’re looking to do work on your home. 3D is it.
