Big park, with big and small areas, but as a reviewer pointed out, a blocked sight line between them. You can’t see the big kids if you are with the little kids. There is a big sand area, albeit with a rusty step with sharp pieces that can cut little ones. The toddler(2 – 5) area is encircled by a huge drop off, perfect for little ones to fall off, although I suppose it contains them as well. Two baby swings, two older swings, and two play structures make up the toddler area. There is lots of open space and grass. It’s not my most favorite park but it’s ok. There is no shade over the play area so bring hats and sunscreen. There is plentiful parking.

This is the best park in Livermore! And it’s especially nice because it’s close and has a beautiful view of the vineyards. I’ve been to pretty much everywhere park in Livermore, starting from childhood to now, and this one takes the cake. It’s a shame I’ve only known about it for a few years! Pros: +Kid friendly! There are several play structures for your child to choose from! +Dog friendly! There is a nice dog park across from the play structures. It’s gated and has a nice expanse of grassy areas for the dogs to run around in. +Jogger friendly! The sidewalk that surrounds the park makes about a 1.9 mile loop around a few neighborhoods. It gets even longer if you choose to take a longer route. Several laps of those will leave you breathless! +Sports/Recreation friendly! If you haven’t seen the HUGE grass field that makes up this park, you should really take a look. Just looking at it makes you want to skip all the way across. +Basketball court! Need I say more? +VERYGOOD for picnics, kite-flying, and a lot of shade to sit under. Cons: +None! It attracts a strange teenaged crowd at the wee hours of the night, but so does every public park, so no surprise there lol. I walk through here almost every week if not more. :-) It’s a wonderful addition to Livermore.

This park contains two tot structures and two structures for bigger kids. Unfortunately, there is a big gap between the two that is peppered with bushes, obstructing your view and creating the perfect way for smaller tots to run out of sight. I would skip this park if you have multiple children, especially if their ages vary. Seating is ample, though there are no benches by the sand area for some reason. There are two tot swings and two regular swings.

Kids just bought a new house in Livermore, so we are exploring near-by parks for the grand kids. I love how open this park is, and it has shaded seating for the adults… perfect for Livermore’s hot sunny days. Too funny to drive by the old place of employment… There are two structures, one for the over 5 crowd, and one for the smaller kids. My only complaint is that the first step up to the smaller kid structure is very high… at least 2 feet??? Makes it hard for them to get up on it. Our girls prefer the bigger structure… they are pretty fearless. I has not been very crowded when we have gone, but we have a kindergartner and a preschooler, so we are there during hours the older kids are at school. Very clean as well! Say high if you see us there! The granny and grandpa nanny team :-)

I think that it is extremely ridiculous that Unilocal censored and filtered my review for this park… weird yes. In order for a review to be «censored» is that it does not promote business. But the funny thing is that this is a community park… how does it get funded? Or maintained? Hmmm… I wonder… I got it… maybe it conducts business by people like me who pay for Homeowner Association… So if I’m paying Homeowners Association to keep this reclaimed park in the outstanding condition that it is in then I should be able to express my opinion freely.

Great for picnics, Playgroup, and there’s a dog park away from the playgroup, there’s a huge field for kids to run and play ball, lots of big tress for shades, and picnic tables.

Nice park with two play areas(one for bigger kids) that are adjacent to one another. This is great for those with little ones of different ages. There’s plenty of grass and basketball hoops as well.
