All the positive reviews for CBD and Sharon are true. She is incredible. Knowledgeable, is an understatement. I went in a year ago to get info and pricing for our kitchen remodel. Due to finances I could not swing my remodel in 2015. So 11 months later I went back to speak to Sharon on our new but limited budget. She listened to what we really wanted and helped us pick out all the perfect appliances. She worked in our budget perfectly. I also picked up of few accessories like my sink.
I knew after my first visit I was going o use her when I was ready to get my kitchen appliances. not only is she awesome along with her staff. You can tell that she truly cares about her customers. They were all welcoming my 2 little kids while we were going over products. Gave them coloring books, turned on a TV for them. They didn’t even want to leave when I was done…
My appliances were ordered and delivered to me on the exact day I wanted them. Sharon’s delivery of my items was right on time. The driver was professional and careful with all the packages.
Sharon caries a huge line up of items to fit into anyone’s budget. If you doing a kitchen remodel, you need to go see her. I cant say enough good things about her business and her as a person. Its no surprise she’s been in business for a long time.

We are beginning plans for an addition and new kitchen. I went looking for appliances to decide what I wanted. After going to Airport Appliance in Concord and Sears in Pleasanton and getting absolutely no help, I stumbled on the this amazing gold mine in Livermore while on the Internet.
After reading raving reviews about Sharon, I went into the business eager to meet her. She did not disappoint me! By the time I left this store, I knew exactly what appliances I wanted and think about them all the time. Not only that but she emailed me all the stats and prices for each one and I had them first thing the next morning. Knowing what appliances I want to install has allowed me to design my kitchen exactly the way I want it! Thank you Sharon for all your help! If there were 10 stars they would get it. I have worked with Sharon at CBD for the past 15 years and she has by far been the most knowledgable, entertaining and just down to earth person I have met.
I love the fact that she as the business owner will sit down with you and take 3 to 4 hours out of her day going through her showroom showing you the features and options available on today’s ever changing appliance market.
You talk about show rooms… It is huge and well thought out and I was amazed at the level of professionalism her and her staff have consistently provided to me, my family, and friends over the years we have been working with them.
Her pricing has always been great and again the customer service impeccable.
The most important thing I have learned and experienced about appliances is this. The BIG box stores like Sears, or Airport Appliance are sometimes less expensive BUT allot of times you are buying an appliance that has been sent from the manufacturer to a storage warehouse which is then shipped to another and another until it gets to a big box store.
By that time that appliance has been handled multiple times possibly bumped and jarred multiple times. As you know there are fairly sensitive electronics in these units and as they get banged around they start to fail (happened to me on more than one occasion when buying from Airports «open box» sales in the past).
CBD actually orders your stuff from the factory and it gets delivered to them. They look at the goods before delivery and you are signing off on a literally off the production line appliance. They also are VERY good with following up on getting your factory rebates turned in and I have heard stories of the big box stores dropping the ball on these types of customer service items.
All in all you have to take the time to set up an appointment with them and I promise you you won’t be disappointed.

I had bought a very expensive Liebherr Fridge floor model (slight ding on side) from a (not to be named, but has the word «Airport» in it) larger chain retail store. (full price is upwards of $ 3k+).
When my floor model arrived — it did not work on day 1. When I contacted the Liebherr Corporate about a repair under their warranty, I found out that my «new» unit was 6 years old. I was going nuts for four weeks trying to get the chain store to make it right — either fix the fridge, OR get a discount on a new (un-​dinged) unit for all my trouble. What they were pushing for was that I pay the price increase/​difference for a New unit, and they would cover 50% of the extended warranty, which I found to be an unacceptable make good.
Needless to say — I was trying to find an alternate solution I could live with — I really did not want to «reward» the chain store with EVEN MORE of my hard-​earned money. Taking the matter into my own hands — I called a bunch of retailers and got various quotes on the same model of a NEW Liebherr fridge. When I called CBD, I got Sharon on the phone & she quickly sent me an email quote on the same model that was $ 200 lower than said chain store (and lower than all the others I called in the bay area) — CBD’s lower price nearly covered the cost of «50% extended warranty» the box store was offering to make it right.
In the end — Leibherr Corporate is forcing my original store to make it right with a brand new fridge for my original price. So while I was without a fridge for a month, I did — in the end — get a pretty good deal, but surely I paid the difference in time, frustration and absolute outrage.
If I had started here with Sharon at CBD, I would not have as much grey hair. When I am in the market for a 24″ stove upgrade, I am coming here first!

Another long overdue review. This place is a gem, and worth the drive. Sharon is very pleasant and she is a straight-​shooter, extremely knowledgeable, and ready to spend as much time as you need to choose and purchase the right appliances. A painless, no-​pressure process where we felt as if we were her longtime, good friends. She has the major brands (if she doesn’t have it in-​store, she probably can get what you want) and very competitive prices and, as the owner, she can make the deal happen. She patiently explained the pro’s and con’s of various choices. She followed up with personal, caring service and since then has responded almost immediately when I have had a question about our appliances. I am a fan, and I would not go anywhere else or let my friends go anywhere else if they were in the market for new appliances.

I agree with previous reviews about Sharon! Excellent, superb customer service! My contact started with her when I asked for an online quote, she got back to me the next day with a phone call and recommended some different brands because she believed they would suit our needs better. We set up a appointment to visit her in the showroom and she showed us everything and educated us along the way. My husband and I can’t say enough good things about Sharon! Our dream kitchen is now becoming a reality and she got everything to us for a great price!

I ordered whole GE café kitchen suite appliances including gas cooktop, built-​in micro wave/​convection oven combo, single built-​in oven and warming drawer fro my new kitchen. I had problems with the cooktop and she arranged 4 service calls for me. After the quality problems fixed, I am still happy with the performance (Grate tool high above the flame). And She fought with GE and got them to agree to refund my money back. That’s 3 month after purchase! She ordered another cooktop (Bertazzoni) for me and I got it in 2 days, is that amazing?
She backed me up against the BIG guys. Otherwise I’ll have to deal with them myself, which is very touch (even get some body to speak to), or live with the $ 1300 appliance I am not happy with.

I would describe my experience, but it is simply too long of a story. Bottom line; I am a Licensed Contractor/​Real Estate Broker. I deal with appliance companies on a regular basis. Based on my recent experience, I will be surprised if this company remains in business for any extended period. It is clear that there are multiple issues with ownership and management. SAVE TIME AND MONEY BY DEALING WITH A REPUTABLE COMPANY.

We worked with Sharon for a major remodel to outfit our entire kitchen. When you are shopping for higher end appliances typically you need to decide between getting a good deal or exceptional service.
With Sharon there is no compromise. She was very knowledgeable in helping us through the selection process, gave us a great deal on a large package, and even several months after our purchase continues to provide super responsive, helpful service.
If you are in the market for some new appliances, even if you don’t live in the east bay, a trip to go see Sharon will be time well spent.

I found out about Sharon and CBD from a friend and am grateful for the referral. I flip homes so I purchase a LOT of appliances. Sharon will spend a lot of time with you learning exactly what you need and helping you get the most value for your dollar. She even helped me get an ice maker repaired and followed up to make sure it was fixed! Other reviewers are correct, the customer svc is EXCEPTIONAL. I have been buying my appliances from CBD since January 2000 over the phone. The primary reasons for my dedication is CUSTOMER SERVICE and they will price match. It really helps when you have to spend money on something other than a nice vacation.

Great place, with amazing service and terrific prices. Sharon is a master at finding good deals — she got me a closeout/​display Subzero and a closeout/​display Viking range at several thousands below what I would pay elsewhere, and referred me to great installers.

My range died a few weeks before thanksgiving, when my wife and I were due to be hosting ~ 20 people at our house. After looking around on the internet and going to several other appliance stores, I ended up buying a range from California Builder Distributors.
I first found CBD when they were selling a display model I was interested in on craigslist. I hadn’t heard of them before, but my in-​laws had bought with them previously and were very satisfied.
My wife and I are pretty busy, but the staff went way out of their way to arrange a time (sometime late on a weekend evening when they should have been closed) for us to meet at their showroom and take a look at all the options.
I got the feeling a lot of their business comes from contractors, or contractor referrals. I think this results in a more professional buying experience. High pressure sales is such a turnoff, so I’m glad there was none of that here (Some other stores were pretty bad).
In the end we went with the display model I saw originally, but they do sell most high end brands at competitive prices.
No issues arose during the purchase and installation of the range, but I have confidence these weren’t the type of people to leave you hanging if something comes up. They’ll definitely be my first stop when my next appliance needs replacing.
