Why doesn’t Unilocal have negative review??? What the fxck is CC&R??? And revised CC&R!!! The HOA generates and revised the rules to benefit themselves more, but we don’t see they lower our HOA fee. Yes!!! Agree with the one star reviews. Total rip off. I recently have a plumbing issue that the info I received from one of the board director’s son was it happened to other unit before and the HOA paid for it. When I asked the HOA, she said, «oh! It’s hard to say cuz we revised the CC&R. We need to follow our attorney’s decision.» Obviously!!! The HOA and it’s powerful attorney have way more power than us owners. Fine!!! You revised the CC&R to benefit yourself, but how about our HOA fee??? I don’t see you cut our HOA fee! Common sense! If you provide less service, why should we pay the same??? Ridiculous! What a joke!!!

They have been with our community for 25 years and I can’t really think of anything positive to say. My recent interaction with their office workers, Cindy and her manager has been horrific. I filed for architecture committee’s approval when i painted my home ‘7’ years ago. It was approved by the board. For some reason, FABS sends me a courtesy notice telling me I am in violation of CC&R rules. I replied nicely in May this year letting them know i filed application and it was approved by the board. The office workers told me first, they can’t find my application, after a week of chasing them down and them not responding back to my call, they said they searched all thru the box of document, FOUND my application, but can’t find any approval of the application. Oh I am so sorry I made you searched the whole weekend for the application(eyes rolling) After Cindy admitted I have filed the application 7 years ago, she had the nerve to tell me ‘just because you filed, it doesn’t mean it was approved” «No, I don’t have any copy of whether it was approved or denied, but that doesn’t mean it was approved» WTF? have you ever heard of statute of limitation??? do you just sit in the office and make life miserable for the home owners and have no clue about your job’s responsibility? When I pressed for the record, which they are suppose to keep track of. she had the nerve to not answer my question and send me to her manager. The manager was equally unprofessional and incompetent repeated the same line as Cindy. Holly macro! I finally got resolution from someone higher up, Linda, that my case was closed due to statute of limitation. They responded on 10⁄24 after my initial respondent on 5÷17… FABS sent multiple threatening letters saying show up to the board meeting to discuss how much fine i will pay… WTF!!! You made me come to the board meeting on a week night, my daughter has to skip her swimming lesson, i had to miss my karate class, my wife is tired after a full day of work. all due to lack of communication and poor policy and bad attitudes. Who’s gonna pay for my lost??? I am sorry, i can’t provide a better recommendation

Can I give negative stars? This is by far one of the worst property management companies around. They have excessive fees for EVERYTHING!!! When I bought my place in 2005, I was paying $ 287 for HOA fees for my condo. By 2007 they jacked up the fees with special assessment to a fluctuating HOA fee. They charge the $ 287 and then utility bill for Gas/Electric. Winter brought it up to around $ 400 for my 1 bedroom unit. Others with, larger units were paying over $ 600 per month. Its not like we had a luxury building or anything. The damn thing was built in the 70’s!!! It looks more like project housing or section eight. Bottom line… FAB’s is a ripoff. If you are buying into a place that they manage. RUN!!! If you are considering hiring them DON’T!!!
