Grape Stomp ½ Marathon was a wonderful event that started in Robertson park. The coarse took us along the Arroyo Mocho Creek. It then took us through the beautiful vineyards of Livermore and through Holdener Park. Vineyards, lazy grazin cows, big wooly sheep, rolling hills, massive electrical towers. awesome views, peace & serenity in the air, new friendships, and an all round beautiful race. This ½ marathon reached it limit of 1500 participants. There was a nice expo in the park where the event was being held. Power Bar, New Balance, a coffee/food truck was there, Teen Challenge and several other sponsors had booths there, as well a 4 table station for massages. The MC of the event was very entertaining while we waited for the race to start. Too bad for us… it was cold out and the event started 30 minutes late. Awesome wine stopper finishers medal. I will probably do this ½ marathon next year. It was such a nice course with such beautiful surroundings.
